'Oh! I forgot. Harsh and Rishab are waiting outside. Let's go.' I said and he nodded.
We went to the living area, they were not there, we searched the entire house but they weren't to be found. Suddenly, we stopped in our way and a lady came out of nowhere. 'Nurse? Are you done with your phone calls?' Manan asked and she replied 'Yes.'
'Great, so my wife and I will be back in a moment so could you please take care of my granny?'
'Sure, sir. After all that is my job and glad to meet you ma'am.' She said and I smiled at her.
'They would be there!' Manan and I said in unison.
We walked straight ahead to that place. We soon climbed the stairs of the place. There they were, Manan and I looked at each other smiling at them. They were playing with the toys, looking at the boxes which we call "Our treasure box" typical, I know. Then the frames, the scribblings which Harsh calls his 'Art'
Photos, toys and every single thing of this treehouse makes us nostalgic. 'Guys?' I got both of theirs attention. And we all 4 looked at each other and grinned so hard.
'This treehouse holds so many memories of ours.' Harsh said.
'From our happiness to sorrow this place knows it all.' Rishab said.
'This used to be our hang out place. When did we grow up so much?'
'Maybe when life gave us lemon and we made tequila rather than making a lemonade out of it? Wait.. Does that even makes sense?' Manan asked and we smiled at his failed attempt of being a philosopher.
So yes, this is our treehouse. It is in the garden of granny's house, obviously.
Grandpa and we all made it together. When he died or even when Manan's parents died, we found Manan here crying all alone. When Rishab scored a centum in maths and proved his professor wrong we celebrated his victory here. When Harsh and I would get into a fight, Manan and Rishab would lock us inside till we don't make it up with each other. This place holds half of our childhood.
'Vedika, we three have something to tell you.'
'Hmm, go on.' I said absent mindedly, all my attention was at this house.
'We three are moving back to India, forever.'
'Oh- WAIT WHAT!? Are you guys SERIOUS!? I am so HAPPY!' I said and jumped at three of them, together. Don't ask me how I'd managed to but one thing is sure the tree house could not hold our weights and the treehouse broke and next you know what would have happened. We all fell and thankfully, the treehouse was not build so high and we did not have any serious injuries. Just some bleeding scratches.
'AAAAHHHHHHHH! BLOOD! DOCTOR! AMBULANCE! I AM GOING TO DIE!'
'Calm down. It's not bleeding that much!' I said rolling my eyes.
'Oh please! You don't know how much it is paining, Vedika. I am going to kill you!' He said as he started rushing towards me, I squealed and ran as fast as I could. Then for no reason Rishab and Manan too started running after us.
'Why are you guys running?' I asked while running. And Manan replied
'Because?...Don't know!'
