Harsh was driving us to the place where Manan is.
The last , I saw Manan was when he came to my room and after that we did not see each other, we just talked, I mean he talked. I could feel he was devastated as equally as me or maybe more than me. He would be probably blaming himself for what happened.
'Harsh? Please drive a little fast, will you?'
'Yeah, dude. We want to reach today not after 10 years!..........See, even that kid riding the bicycle overtook us.' Rishab said and I chuckled.
'Hahaha very funny. Just wait and watch.'
In two mins we reached the place. Wow, just hurt someone's ego and there you get what you want! I rushed out of the car and walked straight into the house.
Manan's house, his grandparents house.
I remember this used to be our favourite spot and we also named it as "La cachette." When Rishab told us "La cachette" means "Hiding place" in French.
Whenever, we had any problems or wanted to share something or anything we used to come here and granny would give us chocolates and grandpa would take us to the park. After, few years grandpa expired, granny could not accept this loss and since, then she is suffering from brain paralysis. She can listen to us but cannot talk. It was hard seeing her like this. I remember, how many hours Manan used to cry in front of us.
His parents expired in a car accident when he was 17, he had no one except for us. Thank god, his family was financially stable. He used to work so hard, every day and night, with his studies side by side he also managed to learn his family business. After, his studies he took over his company officially and he has become so good in his work that he has one company in foreign and one here in India. He used to come and stay one month here, in India to meet his granny and take care of the company and the next month he would go back.
He has seen so much in his young life. He shows he is all mighty but we three know he is not. He cries, he becomes sad, he blames himself for every bad thing that happens in his life, he never asks someone to help him, even if he is drowning in the ocean. He shows as if doesn't cares if no one's there for him but deep down even he knows how much he needs us.
We three hold each others hand and enter the room, just like when we were young. We saw a tired and anguished man, seated on the ground, crying and holding granny's hand who was sleeping.
