Chapter Fifty One- Hollow Crown.

Today we were leaving for Rome. 

I was so excited and I was so surprised that Danny would do this before one of our birthdays or even Valentine's Day. 

I'm just glad, it's a time for us to have a romantic break away and there's nobody I would rather be in this stage of my life with more. 

I pack the last of my suitcase and I roll it out into the living room where Doug and mum were eating dinner. They look up as soon as my door opened with grins on their faces.

They loved seeing that smile on my face. The smile I've never wiped off since being with Danny.

"Is that you all set love?" My mum smiles, standing up. I sigh happily and look around at my stuff.

"Yeah I'm pretty much set" I nod glancing over everything, nodding in approval.

"You better be careful" Dougie chimes in as I chuckle. "I mean it, stay with Danny at all times. Don't wander by yourself, don't get in a car with anyone...oh and use protection" He adds.

"Dougie you know I'm always careful" I chuckle once again just as the door opens. Danny walks in grinning.

"Ah Mia cara!" He leans over and kisses my cheek.

"What is that outfit?" Dougie questions, laughing slightly.

"It's me Italian fit! I think I look pretty alright" Danny mentions. I wrap an arm around his waist.

"You always do" I comment as he grins, leaning down to peck my lips.

"I'm eating here" Dougie points to his meal as Danny walks over and looks at what he's having.

"Ooo nice" He says as he takes Dougie's fork and shoves the food in his mouth.

"Well... that's you just contaminated my food now" He sighs as both Danny and I laugh.

"What times your flight?" My mum asks.

"Boarding time is 9 I'm pretty sure"

I glance at the time to see it saw 7:42.

"Are you joking?! Danny we need to leave now" I rush as I grab my case and a few bags just as he glances at his watch. Panic rushes through his face.

"Shit! I thought it was 6!"

We say our goodbyes very very quickly and run out of the house, not even shutting the door because we had no time. Let's hope our holiday isn't ruined before it even starts.

Eve's P.O.V

I could hear the sound of the monitor. 

Everything was dark, I couldn't see anything. 

My head felt like it was burning, it was like that awful feeling... the one where you're out in the cold and as soon as you get somewhere warm, your hands burn. It was that.... but all over my body.

My mind was still but it felt like it was racing. I thought I was alone in the dark, I had a funny feeling I knew where I was... but my mind moves from that thought when I feel a hand slide into mine.
