Light, pave the way
Life, you're my cage
I've been a bad man biting the hand of fate
Fighting for freedom - please, don't wait

I'm going to clear up age gaps and stuff because I think I've muddled that all up.
Dougie- 1987
Eve- 1988
Jazzie- 1991

Danny helps me out of the car carefully as Dougie runs around telling him to be careful, I was finding it rather funny to be fair.

Tom and Harry grab my bags and watch as Danny holds me up.

We all slowly walk towards the house I have memories of the night I lay almost dead in the ditch.

I remember running out distraught. I can't even remember what was going through my head.

Dougie slowly turns the door handle as we all walk in.

"SURPRISE!" Everyone jumps out.

I fall back into Danny, mainly because I didn't except it.

There was Gi, Izzy, my family. My nana. My grandad. My auntie Moo. My cousins. Vicky. Harry's family. Toms family. I felt so overwhelmed, tears came to my eyes.

Harry chuckles as he wipes the tear.

I slowly walk forward and receive hugs off everyone, thankful I had people around me like this.

I roll out of bed groggily as I hear my mum shout my name from the kitchen.

It was Friday, the last day of the school week.

Thank fuck. It was also my 17th birthday this weekend so Dougie was staying at home for the week.

I had found my mum passed out on the couch last night, it was obvious she had been drinking, she didn't exactly hide anything. I leave my room unwillingly as I head straight for the shower.

"Where are you going love?" My mum questions.

"To the shower?" I question, unsure on why she was actually asking me. For all she knew I could be using the toilet and that is definitely not her business.

"Why?" She asks.

"For school....?" I trail.

"Oh no, don't worry sweetheart, it's your birthday weekend, there's no going to school today for you" My mum smiles as she dishes the pancakes she was making onto the plate.

I couldn't believe my ears, was she being kind for once? Oh my.

I grin cheekily as she laughs at the facial expression I was making.

"Come and get some pancakes love. DOUGIE! JAZZ! Breakfast!" She shouts just as I hear the groans coming from both rooms.

Us Poynters definitely looked rough in the mornings, bed hair was not a joke.

We all sit around the table and I notice Jazz being unusually quiet and upset, I think Dougie noticed as well seeing as he nodded to her while looking at me questioningly.

I cough before turning to her "Jazz... are you doing okay?"

She looks up hazily, her eyes were clouded.

"Yeah... yeah I'm fine" She nods slowly smiling, it just didn't fill her eyes. I frown slowly before continuing on with my pancakes.

I lay down on my bed as the party continued on, I was by far exhausted and these antibiotics were starting to make me feel weird, I felt as if I wasn't there.
