(Cassandra pov)
Knock! Knock! Knock!
"Cass! Hurry up bro I need to pee!" Jake shouts and I scrambled to clean everything up in the bathroom.
"Sorry!" I unlocked the door and let him in, I ducked out and shut the door behind me.
"Am I driving you to school today?" Jake shouts from inside the bathroom and I stopped walking.
"Oh god...if you want to!" I shout back as I go into my room and pack my bag.
"Okay cool! Finish getting ready and I'll drop you off," Jake said as he flushed the toilet.
"Wash your hands!" The bathroom tap turns on, "with soap, Jake!"
"I'm 21 I know how to wash my hands," Jake told me and I gave him a look, "what?"
"Jake, Tara and I both know you do but you never wash ya hands," I crinkle my nose up and he rolled his eyes at me.
"Get ready for school," I grinned since I knew I was right and I walked away.
—
"Have a good day today, okay?" Jake said and I nod my head before smiling.
"See ya, Jake," I got out of the car and Jake handed me my bag.
"Hey," I tilt my head, "I'm going to be at Tara's today so I don't know if I'll be home." He told me.
"I'll walk home, it's fine, Jake, you don't have to drop everything to do things for me, it's okay." I smile before sighing, "I seriously have to go, man, I'll be late."
"Love you," he smiles at me and I smile in reply.
"Love you too..." I held my fist out and he fist-bumps me.
"Bye." I wave to him and then left the car to walk into school.

(Trigger warning ⚠️ : punches and bullying)
"was that your car, fag?" I look at the kid and glare, I stopped in my tracks and just stare.
"That's my dad's car and can you not say that in front of him, at least wait until he's gone," I told them before I look behind me to see that Jake's car was gone, I wait for a moment in case he was still around before looking back to the boy. I didn't have time to dodge when his fist came flying into my face.
WHACK!
"Don't tell me what to do," the boy snapped and I fell to the ground, I just huff as I stare at him in anger.
"Fuck off," I spat as I pushed myself up and dusted myself off.
"You think you can walk into this school with all that gay shit on and expect us to accept a worthless girl like you? You're a freak! An orphan, a loner, you will never get anywhere in life. No one wants someone like you as their employee or their boss." I just scoffed.
"Leave me alone, I'm not gay and I don't care what you think about me." I sigh as I grabbed my bag from the ground before leaving the boy in the middle of the pathway.
—
The bell rang for lunch and I didn't feel as excited as I usually would be for lunchtime alone. I collected my things and silently left the classroom with my face hidden and my earphones playing music.
-
I just wanted to disappear, I honestly did, I want to talk to someone but I fell like I'll be laughed at if I told them how I felt about things.
