Three

(Cassandra POV) (January 20th 2018)

I was sitting in my room playing with the hem of my sweater as I waited for Jake to come and get me.

I heard a knock on the door and I shot my head up to see Amethyst. I got off my bed and she smiles before wrapping her arms around me in a hug, I hug her back and pat her back softly as I dug my head into her shoulder.

"I'm going to miss you, Cassy," Amethyst mumbles and I hug her a little tighter.

"If you can, get Facebook and then we can still talk, I promise," I whispered in her ear as I slowly slip out of her embrace, we face each other and she smiles at me.

"I will don't worry," Amethyst said and we heard a soft knock on the door, we both look to see Jake leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed.

"Hey, are you ready to go or do you need a minute?" Jake asks me and I look to Amethyst.

"I'll see you on the flip side, yeah?" She asks me, we clasped hands and hugged again.

"Definitely," I replied as she let me go and handed me my suitcases, "bye, Amy."

"See you later, alligator," we both laugh and I shake my head.

"Okay, I need to get my box," I look around before sighing as I rolled my suitcases to the door and then went back for my computer box, "Jesus, did I put a brick in here too?" I carry the box and Jake had my suitcases.

"Let's go."

Jake and I were in the car on the way to my new home, I stare out the window and watched the universe around me move in its own pace, it was wonderful.

"You okay?" Jake asked, bringing me back into reality. I looked over and nod my head before facing the front.

"The outside world looks wonderful," I told him and then I look through his window, Jake smiles as he concentrated on the road ahead of him.

"Okay, I have two options for you, one: We go to McDonald's for breakfast and then go shopping or two: We go shopping first and then we eat whatever we want to in the Mall."

"The second option," I answered.

"Gotcha," He smiles and then turned the car to the left.

"I already feel free," I told him.

"Good, I'm glad, by the way, I'm literally 19-years-old, I have no idea how to look after anyone else. I can't even look after myself, if I do something wrong, let me know?" He chuckles nervously.

"Okay, Oh! I watched some videos from you last night, they're really funny," I informed him before looking out the window again.

"Oh? Which one is your favourite?" Jake asks me.

"The cockroach prank for sure, it was so funny," I replied with a small laugh, "oh, I watched Corey as well, for sure he is going to be the "mom" of this family from how he acts. I've watched some other videos of the guys so I know what they're like on camera." I rambled on and Jake just laughs.

"Sam is gonna actually be so overprotective of you, he's a dad alright," I nod my head slightly.

"I already declared Colby as my older brother," I told Jake.

"Yeah, he told me, good call on that one," Jake mentions.

"Thanks."

Jake and I wandered around the mall together, I looked up at Jake and then sighed as my nerves were restless, I've never been to the mall before.

"Yo," I look at Jake before he held his hand out, I smile before holding it, "I can see that you're terrified so let's take this nice and slow."
