**(Okay so the last chapters question on which pov would be easiest to use was at a tie between first and third person. I will leave it in third person until the tie breaks :) NOW BACK TO UR REGULARLY SCHEDULED PROGRAM)**

Kaces heels scratched against the side of his bike as he flew through the empty street.
His breath was coming in hard and hot as he pumped his legs furiously, hardly able to contain the thousands of questions buzzing in his mind. He had to tell Xavier. That was the only way any of this would ever make any sense.
His bike was swerving as it hit the gravel driveway, and Kace wasted no time hoping off the bike and racing to the front door of Xaviers apartment complex. His legs nearly buckled with the sudden switch from pedaling to walking, but he ignored it as he wobble ran up the steps.
He buzzed himself in with the spare entry key Xavier had given him and quickly began traveling up the wide spiral staircase, the rail running under his hands so quickly they started to burn a little.
He let go of the rail as he reached the second floor, practically flinging himself into the hallway with his momentum.
I know I told myself I wouldn't bother him again today....but this.....
Kace was out of breath as he reached room 204. Fatigue finally catching up to him, he raised a shaky fist and rapped at the door rather weakly. He was still trying to catch his breath as he gazed down at his own hands resting on quivering kneecaps. the grey carpeted halfway floor was blurring under his eyes, and he grudgingly wiped his forehead, feeling the wetness of fresh sweat against his forearm.
c'mon Xavier......
He glanced up at the door, which was still white and unmoving.
How strange. well, I didn't really give him much of a heads up, did I?
He waited. Then waited some more.
Reluctantly, he eyed the keycard Xave had given him. I usually don't do this....but this is urgent!
He held the card up to the doorway, watching it blink from red to blue. The door handle was cool under his hand as he eased the door open, not wanting to disturb Xavier if he was sleeping. He closed the door gently behind himself, listening to the metallic lock shift back into place behind him.
As he was stepping into the kitchen a sound made him pause. A string of conversation floated from Xaviers small living room. Sounds like he's on the phone. I'd....better go.
Just as he was turning to leave, a sentence floated to his ears that made him feel colder than the handle in his hand.
"Steph, you know I can't just leave like that."
Steph? As in....Stephanie?
Kace thought back to the long brown haired girl from the park the day he and Xavier met. He shuddered as he remembered Xaviers....violent first impression.
Snapping back to the present, Kace slowly let his fingers slip from the door handle. The room seemed darker somehow.
"You know you meant...mean the world to me but..why?" Kace winced at the pain in Xaviers voice. "Why did you just leave like that?"
There was anger in both Xaviers voice and Kaces heart. "you meant....mean the world to me." The words shot through his heart like knives. It was like being burned alive from the inside out.
