Chapter 2

I jerked up from my bed and looked around. It took me a while to realize what had happened as I tried getting up, my vision not really working with me. A doctor stopped me trying to explain that my colleague brought me here and it wouldn't be advisable for me to be getting up now but I didn't listen. I pushed passed him yanking the door open.

My family...my entire life I ran out of the hospital my vision still blur and my head pounding. I tried stopping vehicles and when it seemed nobody wanted to stop for me I stood in the middle of the road screaming. I knew I looked psycho but I didn't have a choice, did I?

A vehicle that almost knocked me down was forced to stop because I refused to get out of the way. I entered the car not waiting for the man to say anything to me. "Take me to Freeman hospital"..

"But ma'am....."

"NOW BEFORE I LOOSE MY MIND!", I said grabbing his shirt. He must have sensed that I was very serious and sped to the hospital. When I enter the hospital my blood felt so hot and even if my vision became better my head kept pounding even harder. I started shouting immediately asking where my family was. I knew I looked like a lunatic but wasn't I worse than that. Nurses came grabbing me when I began scaring patients by grabbing them instead asking where my family was.

"Ma'am you have to calm down you'll soon be attended to", one of the nurses begged.

"Did I just here you say calm down?!!!!!!"..

I was about overpowering the two nurses when a doctor ran up to me

"You must be Mrs Wilson"...

"Where is my family?"...

"Ma'am....."

"Take me to my little boy now!"....

Giving up trying to talk to me he led me through numerous wards and stopped at a particular ward. I entered the ward and ran up to my little boy kneeling by his bed. One look at him and I knew he was still unconscious. "Please tell me he'll be okay".

The doctor gave out a loud sigh..."I can't promise that ma'am but I promise to try my best"

I got up from where I was kneeling and walked away from the bed my eyes filled with tears.

"Take me to my husband".

Everything was white and ever so pure. I saw unicorns and beautiful looking birds. I was about enjoying a ride on one of the unicorns when someone called my name. I tried searching for the person that called my name but people were so much...happy people

"Alyssa"..

I turned and it was my....DAD!!!!

I ran to him and hugged him. It felt like I didn't see him for a very long time and I really missed him.

"I missed you dad"

"I missed you too dear but its getting late you've been playing with the unicorns for a while now you need to see your mom and brother".

"Where are they?"

He smiled and suddenly things started fading..."I'll see you later dear greet your mom and brother for me".

I didn't quite understand but the next thing I knew I was laying down and the bright light barely let my vision stable. I heard voices as though people were celebrating a child's birth but I soon realized it was me....a woman ran up to me and I squinted to see.

"A NURSE???!!!"
