Chapter 34

Alyssa's P. O. V

"Hey Alyssa you're awake. I heard what you did by the way", Angie said from an excited voice to a stern one. Her high excited voice made people glare at us. Maybe if the doctors see my improvement and all they'll get me out of this hospital. I was sick and tired.

"Angie please my head still hurts", I said truthfully and she eyed me suspiciously as if trying to find out if I was lying by looking at me.

"What did you go there to do? Do you remember anything that happened", she asked finally after staring at me for about two minutes and figuring that I was really hurting.

I did remember....

"I saw.... Vivian", I dropped the bomb.

"You saw what?!"

What didn't she understand by my head hurts and she should stop screaming?!!!!

"I wanted to see Ben's soul and was really hurting so I used a kind of spell to keep him still and before you ask I snuck into Louis' office and got the spell, poured oil on the binding spell and took some spell papers in his office. So then as I was saying, I touched Ben's head in order to read and then I saw different stuffs like an orb and other dark things then boom a strong wind blew me across the room and I hit my head hard. Ben started walking towards me and I felt really weak that's all I can remember."

There was silence for a few minutes before I added sadly,"And I think she kind of took my powers. I'm not sure I'll be able to read stuffs anymore.

"Here trying reading this", Angie gave me a pen. I took it from her trying to read how it was made and stuffs but everything was blur.

"I can't I'm feeling dizzy", I said returning the pen.

"It might just be the after effect of you hitting your head. Here you must be hungry too", she said handing me cheese and juice. My favourite lemon juice.

"Eat up my dear. You'll get your psychoscpy power back when you're a stable."

"How do you know the name of my power?", I asked as I munched happily on the food.

"Oh sweetie, I did my research. Besides, what's the internet for? I even went back to that house"

I turned to look at her not really concentrating on the food anymore. I knew by 'that' house she meant her mom and dad's house. "Why would you go back there?"

"To find something reasonable. You know we didn't achieve much last time we went there. You got hurt. I hope you're okay"

"Yeah I'm find", I lied because my body still hurt so much.

"Okay so I went back and saw some pictures of party folks. It seemed like my dad and his best friend had organised it coz my dad once told me he was crazy about parties in his college days. So in the picture I saw my dad's best friend and my mom kissing, eww. Then I saw a picture of my dad's best friend with yet another woman. What sorta womanizer??!! So I decided to find out whom that other young lady was and guess what I found?"

I shook my head still munching on my food not wanting to ask a question I'll certainly get wrong.

"Angela Maurice was her name before she married my dad's best friend and that's Angie's real mother"

I almost spit out my food.

"And did i forget to add I feel really strange like I'm never alone and someone is always trying to talk to me but all that is just really crazy so I just push the feeling away. I tried going back to Louis' house to see if I could find more but a very strong force field kept me out"

But I wasn't listening anymore. "Angie may I see Louis' mom's picture please?"

"Okay", she said handing the picture over to me.
