Chapter 7

As confused as I was I followed him anyway till we were clear of too many ghost ears.

"I saw Benjamin here...."

"Wha.what?"...that explains why he hadn't gotten up. Did it mean that....

"Is he dead?", I blurted

"I don't know dear. He hasn't woken up"

"No but the doctors are still saying that there's a slim chance of him surviving"

'Slim chance'. I could tell my dad didn't like the sound of that.

"Maybe he'll be okay"

Maybe?

"As I was saying I saw Ben here Ben here but he wouldn't speak to me"

"Why?", I asked almost stammering again.

My dad looked terrified when he turned to, "Please promise me you won't tell your mom I told you this"

Now I was getting more confused, "O...kayy"

"Years ago your grand aunty was in some sorta cult and she was kinda forced to sell your brother's soul and your mom thought she had broken the whole curse on your brother's soul by killing her but I guess that didn't work as plan and now..."

If someone ever told me any of my family members were in any form of cult or had anything to do with murder I'd have probably fought with the person but here I am listening to all these crap. I try not to scream or something but I couldn't just process all these.

"I'm sorry you found out this way Alyssa"

Yeah right...

"But your help is needed".

My throat dried up. "Why me?", I asked barely audible.

"You interact with the dead and the living Alyssa and you cold just help me find out which of these trillions of people is your aunt. You seem to know a lot more people than I do".

"How am I supposed to do that when I don't even know how I get here?"

Now my dad looked confused. "You don't know how you get here?"

Huh?

"You aren't the one that brings me here?"

"Of course not. I don't have that special power to do so."

There were so many questions in my little head and I felt kind of dizzy. I decided to save my questions for later

"I barely understood a thing but I guess I don't have a choice but to help out though I really have to figure out how I get here."

My dad's face brightens up.

"Okay dear I will see you later, I can see you're already going"

What?!! I wasn't planning on leaving... not yet at least I wanted to play a little more but then I ended up in the....HOSPITAL!!!

It was really dark and I had never seen the hospital this way since I stayed here and my head started pounding. Uh-oh that wasn't a good sign for me. I had mastered this feeling and it wasn't always a good thing. My curious self got me going down the stairs.

Wattpad was created October 2006. I haven't figured out the day yet though.
