Chapter 10

Alyssa's POV

I spent hours playing with Ken and Elizabeth. It seemed so fun and once again endless. I felt no pain not even the slightest headache unlike when I was awake and had migraines. We played hide and seek and I couldn't find them all the time. I wasn't really expecting that I'd find them coz they were ghosts of course. They always found me and it was kinda annoying but it was still fun.

I spotted my dad and he waved at him. I waved back and smiled, I was happy he didn't come pulling me off or something coz it was really getting on my nerves. He just took a seat and watched me as I played with my friends. I guessed this time he wanted me to enjoy myself and I was really.

"We have to go really", Elizabeth said after on round of the hide and seek that they actually found me.

"Our granny will have been waiting for us now", she added.

"Okay...", I wasn't exactly okay with that and I knew they weren't too but I didn't wanna keep them.

"Will you be back?", Ken asked me.

"Yeah sure I will", I said smiling.

"Okay", he said returning the smile though I guessed he didn't wanna go. "I'll see you around then".

They walked away and I went to meet my dad. He was still seated. "You had fun?"

"Yeah but I don't know why they had to go coz their granny would be waiting. Not like you ghosts eat or sleep".

"You should ask them next time".

That thought had really never occurred to me, "I think I'll do that dad you're a genius"

He chuckled before asking, "How did you get here? You finally realize how to move between the two worlds?"

"I guess so.. I just thought of this place and I wanted to be here then I was here".

"That's great then"

"But I don't have a clue on how I get back"

"Oh you....."

"May I see Ben?" I certainly had no idea why I was the one bringing up Ben's issue this time but I was.

"You seemed like you didn't wanna discuss that today"

Yes but I don't know why I asked. But truthfully I had a lot to discuss, doctor Louis inclusive but I really needed to see my brother first. I missed him so much.

"I don't want to discuss much I just want to see my brother", I said hoping I wasn't rude.

"Okay but before I take you there I must let you know something very important"

Okay I sensed this was no good. "Don't touch him"

HUH??!! I tried hard not to laugh out loud.

"It may seem funny but it really isn't as funny as it seems he's not himself at all", he said as though reading my thought and I fought with my eyes to stop them from rolling. "So you are saying he's not normal?"

"Unfortunately he's nothing close to normal"

I wanted to laugh again but I mouth cooperated with me and I replied, "Okay". I don't know why I agreed to that but I did. Maybe if I didn't he wouldn't take me to Ben. I quietly followed him till we got to a crowded area then I spotted Ben and ran over to him. He was sitting his knee high enough for his hands and head to be placed on. His head was down as though he were asleep. I took a step forward and was pulled back by my dad before I could move again. "I told you not to touch him"

"If you want me to believe he's not okay I'd like to see for myself", I snapped. I never actually snapped at my dad. Hello new me! He let go of me actually shocked that I snapped that way and I winced. I made a step closing up the little space between me and my little brother.

"Ben?"
