Chapter 40

Alyssa's POV

Well I did touch Ben and it felt like I got shocked by a life wire. He stayed deep into my eyes until he was pulled away by Vivian. "Get out of this place", she screamed but Ben didn't move. He stared deeply into her sinister eyes.

I had managed to read Ben he was no more possessed. He was forced to do what he didn't want to do, more or less what she wanted to turn me into. "Leave my brother alone", I screamed. I was totally defenseless and so was Ben.

But as usual Vivian didn't listen, she grabbed Ben and lifted him from the ground. I was surprised he didn't scream maybe he was used to this kind of things. Then she took his forehead straight to her mouth and bit it hard which made Ben let out a scream and I did too. "Leave my brother alone", I was crying now trying to struggle with the chains but all my struggles were rendered useless still.

"What are you doing to that young boy Vivian? Drop him. We have things to worry about now", someone said but I couldn't see the person till about two minutes before I saw it was the master who had walked into the room holding something that I didn't know.

Vivian dropped the weak Ben and rushed over to the master. He was close enough for me to touch him, so I pulled his legs and made sure he was very close for me to hug him tight and keep him on my lap. He was a total bloody mess and so was I at this point.  His eyes were closing and this was no good. I had to make the blood stop flowing somehow but I just didn't know how. I almost cursed at the people who blessed me without adding the power to heal.

I started looking around for what could help because the master and Vivian were both discussing something that seemed not to want to end.

Angie's POV

"Oh thank you Lord. You're miss Angie right?", an unknown doctor asked.

"Yes I am. What happened?"

You'd expect all the doctors and nurses know each other and yes that was true but I guess he was a new doctor and lately I didn't have time to see new people and make friends or anything.

"Please follow me. Mary needs you urgently."

Mary needs me? Something must have happened. No doubts about that. "What happened?"

The doctor shot me an apologetic look before answering my question. "Something really terrible has happened but it will be best if you see it yourself not just hearing from me".

So then that made me shut up as I followed him down before reaching the special ward where Mary was kept.

I went close to her and saw there was definitely something wrong. She was bleeding and her hands were swollen.
She was crying too and vibrating. She had definitely drugged herself.

"I'm sorry Angie. I know I'm still very mad at you but I don't know why I am mad at you. I'm tired of life because I don't understand myself anymore. I can't handle dark magic. It makes me go insane. Really insane. Take care of Alyssa and please make Ben come back to his normal state. I know you can. Although Louis is my blood I still really love him intimately even if I don't know why I do. Forgive me."

I was crying with her too now. "Why did you have to do this Mary? You could've at least  helped bring she and Ben back."

"I'm so...sorry Angie."
That was it. She didn't speak again. I shook her body but it was all lifeless. I began screaming. It was crazy of me to do so because I've seen countless people die but this one was way too different. Tears were rushing out of my eyes.

Some people started coming to me for consolation but I needed none of that. I started questioning the doctors, nurses, attendant and even the sick ones around why they saw Mary injecting herself and they couldn't do anything. Everyone of them gave the excuse of not seeing when she injected herself.

I also asked the them why they didn't at least watch her seeing that she wasn't mentally okay to see if she was holding anything dangerous but I got no answer. They were all still trying to wipe off their tears.

I closed the eyes of the now dead Mary. I wouldn't let Ben and Alyssa die too. I couldn't let that happen. I turned to see Louis by the door, red in the eyes and face. I walked up to him without him telling me to do so.

"We must save Alyssa and Ben", I stated flatly.

"I know that. There's a way. Follow me."

Something terrible came up with this book but then I do have to complete the book so I'm still working on the whole thing. Hope this chapter was okay??
