Brief Explanation...

Alright. So, after reading the last chapter, I realized that, if you haven't read the books, this is confusing. So... from now on, I'll answer questions and explain stuff after each chapter. Okay?

So...

1) Casters are kinda like witches/wizards, but they say that's "too stereotypical" and they're kinda different. Like, they only have certain powers. If that makes sense.

2) Link. That is what everybody calls him. His full name is Wesley Jefferson Lincoln, but he hates that name.

3)Claiming. On your 16th birthday (if you're a Caster) you are Claimed for either Dark or Light. You don't get to choose. The 16th moon chooses for you.

4) 16th Moon. On a Caster's 16th birthday, a Claiming Moon in the sky chooses your fate.

5) Names. Your birth name - Josephine, Sophie, Jasmine, whatever - is revealed to you on your Claiming. Until then, you are called by a random name. For example, Lena's real name is Josephine, but she liked Lena better so she stuck with it. She got the name Lena because her grandma always called her Lena Beana because she's so skinny.

Also, in the books, only the Duchannes family doesn't get to choose at their Claiming. In this story, no one does. Thanks. Byyyyyeeee.
