Thalia POV

"So, we need our last person. Then, we just have to wait for James' big one six, and we'll be ready to take on the LCC," Krystal said.

"In the meantime, let's start on our way to the Tunnels."

"The Tunnels? Why are we going there?" I asked.

"That's where Harley Stevenson is," Krystal responded.

"Who's Harley Stevenson?"

"The last person we need."

"Oh."

We continued on our way. As we walked I noted two things:

1) even though these guys were Dark, they weren't necessarily mean. I now realize that Dark Casters are nice to other Dark Casters, if only to form alliances and whatnot.

2) Krystal and Tony managed to keep a consistent chatter going, bypassing the fact that it was centric to some innocent pedestrian they'd killed on the way here, however James slouched behind us, sunglasses on, leather jacket drawn tight although it was seventy degrees out.

I decided to address this issue later, because now there was a more pressing matter at hand.

Krystal had just announced that there was good news and bad news.

Good news: there was a Waffle House ahead, and we were all starved.

Bad news: we had no money.

Solution: we rob them.

Tony was the Leader for mission Rob Waffle House.

Krystal was the Distraction.

And James and I were the ones who did the stealing.

So, Tony synced the three of their cell phones.

"Here. Let me sync yours, Thalia."

"Um. I sort of... hurled it into the street earlier..."

I expected him to either laugh or rage, but instead, he nodded understanding.

How many cell phones does he go through?

Anyway, after syncing their phones, Tony hid in a bush out front where he could see everything.

Krystal went in first.

We saw her walk up to the cashier-person-guy.

We saw her say a few things, then his eyes widened.

In a flash, he pulled the fire alarm and selected the fire extinguisher.

This was it.

James and I ran in and went straight for the kitchen, where somebody's order was just waiting.

We grabbed it and ran out the back.

Then, we walked around front.

He was silent this whole time, I might add.

Then I realized something.

Krystal and Tony were gone.

They can't have gone far... right?"

James looked at his phone screen.

He was really making me mad. He didn't speak to me at all.

"How can you stare at that damn phone in a time like this?!"

He looked up, startled. Then, regaining his bearings, he showed me the phone.

It was a text from Tony.

Sorry but we had to motor. Cops showed up. Meet us in the Tunnels @ Vance?

"Cops? I don't see any cops."

He sighed. "Krystal is a Diviner. She probably saw them in the future. Tony's a Shifter."

"Ah." I was shocked. He spoke.

"Do you know where we're going?"

He nodded.

Oh boy. We were back to the not talking.

A/N: Last update of the night. Also. I unfortunately must return to the bottomless pit called school. So no update til the evening probably.
