1) Lena and Lila Jane's writing. Lena writes poetry in the books, and Lila Jane sort of inherited it.
2) Ethan and Macon's sports. Ethan was the star basketball player, until he became a part of the Caster world. Macon inherited that.
3) Uncle Macon and Link locking themselves up. They are what's called an Incubus, which is sort of like a vampire, I guess. Uncle Macon isn't an Incubus anymore, though.
4) Empath. One of the powers of a Caster. It means you can borrow the powers of any Caster briefly.
5) Siren. One of the powers of a Caster. The power of persuasion.
6) Thaumaturge. One of the powers of a Caster. The power of healing.
7) Natural. One of the powers of a Caster. The most powerful Caster. Incredibly rare.
8) Illusionist. One of the powers of a Caster. It means you can make something look like something else, but not actually turn into that item.
9) Gatlin. The town they live in.
