Mirror Match

Of course Bakugo won, what did you expect? The dude's got some of the most broken plot armor in the entire MHA series, considering he's like the only character who's never actually lost a fight. So sorry, Colson, as cool and as durable your quirk makes you, it just wasn't enough when one of Bakugo's best moves is throwing someone like a missile. So now 7 have advanced, leaving only one spot left in our top 8. And this is the fight that I honestly could not pick a winner for the life of me. I know, it's the whole joke that Kirishima gets stuck with someone with a similar quirk like his but I couldn't help it. It's too funny and should hopefully bring a very entertaining battle. Enjoy!

-POV: Amelia-

I sat in my waiting room listening to some music through my headphones as I watched the 7th opening round match come to an end. It saddened me to see my classmate, Colson get knocked out already, but that also meant I wouldn't have to face him if I made it to the next round. The first day of school I had to fight Colson and, while I landed some solid shots on his body, it hurt me like hell when he redirected all the pain onto me.

"How am I supposed to deal with someone who has basically the exact same quirk as me? I saw Kirishima in last years U.A festival and I know his quirk allows him to breathe while he uses it, so I can't outlast him. Timing is gonna be everything for me." I thought to myself as I got up from my table and walked over to the fridge in the room. I took out an ice cold bottle of water and drank about half of it. 

"He can use his quirk longer, but I can turn into something stronger. If I can hold my breath long enough, I may be able to overpower him long enough to knock him out." I thought as Present Mic and his co-hosts came on my TV. 

"Well gentlemen, we've only got one more match to go!! Who's your pick in this last match!?" Mic asked them. 

"The two are practically the same, but the advantage goes to Kirishima only due to him having more experience...." Eraser Head said. 

"I have to agree with Eraser Head here, these two are very nearly one and the same, but young Kirishima's experience does in fact give him the upper hand. More training and much more villain experience, despite young Amelia having her own encounter with villains, the numbers just don't lie. But, we've seen a multitude of surprises already, and at this point, I won't be surprised if there's an upset." All Might said as I walked over to the window in my room which looked out into the arena. They'd just finished repairing the battlefield after the last match, which meant it was probably almost time for my match to begin.

"Looks like all the repairs are finished which means we can get onto this 8th and final match!! So let's bring out our fighters!!" Present Mic said with phenomenal timing as I put away my bottle of water and left my room to head to my entry gate.

"First up, he's a rock solid brawler with the purest of manly passion!! With his quirk, he can become the ultimate defense and the deadliest offense at the exact same time!! From U.A, it's Eijiro Kirishima!!!" All Might announced as my opponent made his way into the arena. He looked as determined as ever, waving back to the ground while showing off a fierce smile with his spiky teeth. 

"And now for his opponent!! Her determination is nearly unrivaled and her heart is as strong as her quirk!! The shining gem that dazzles you before beating you down, she's able to become the ultimate offense or a deadly defense!! Everyone put your hands together and welcome Amelia Ramsays!!" Present Mic announced as I walked out of my gate and into the arena. I flexed my muscles for everyone and waved to them as I got lots of cheers and whistles. I then got up onto the battlefield and took my position. But Kirishima had a much different plan as I quickly found out.
