Face the Demon

Sorry for the delay, just had to catch up with a few of my other stories. But now we're back and we're ready to kick off the quarter finals! We've got four action packed and jaw-dropping fights ahead and it's gonna start with a bang! Phobos is set to clash with the mighty Sergei and i'm sure most of you are wondering how Phobos is supposed to beat someone who advanced through the first round so easily. We'll you'll just have to wait and see if he can actually pull it off. Every single fight, from the round of 16 onward was thought over for a long time, each fight having its combatants and their quirks analyzed so we determined who's the right person to advance. And through that process we've determined which two students make it to the finals and which of them will stand on top. It may be expected or it may not. We'll see when we get there. Now, enjoy!

-POV: Phobos-

"And that does it, folks! The top 8 have been decided and it's time we move along to the roaring quarter finals!" Present Mic announced as I could hear the crowd outside of my waiting room scream with pure hype. 

"After 8 jaw-dropping battles, we have 4 even greater fights coming up, each just as difficult to call as the next. Tell me, guys, who do you think will be the ones to advance to the semi-finals!?" All Might asked his co-hosts. 

"It's tougher to say now..... all three top students from the international schools are still in. Bakugo's no easy opponent either. But, we also have 4 P.H students still alive as well. It's anyone's game.... and I feel like they're all gonna drag this out...." Eraser Head said as he let out a heavy sigh. 

"I hear ya there, Eraser. Each of these matches have truly superb combatants. We already know how ruthless Bakugo can be, but will he be able to take down the diamond tank that is Amelia? I can't wait to see that one go down. And before that we'll see defending U.A champion, Cry take on rising star, Harper. Cry took down supposed top first year P.H student, Lisa in round one with relative ease and he may try and do the same with his next opponent. But, i'm sure Harper's got some sort of surprise waiting for him. Ca't wait to see that one!" Present Mic announced. 

"And even before that we get an interesting match up. A true battle of brain vs. brawn as Trini from Queen's Strong is set to clash with Josh from P.H. I see it being a tactical fight and one that'll come right down to the wire. But first, we have what might be the most anticipated match of the quarter finals! Phobos and Sergei of Gregorvsky Alpha are first up and ready to brawl! Phobos stunned the world in the opening round by knocking out the force that is Todoroki! Can he keep his hot streak going!? Or will Sergei crush his dreams here and now!? The demon looked unstoppable in his first match, tanking each and every hit that was sent at him! It's a true battle between an unstoppable force and an immovable object!" All Might roared as the crowd got even more excited. 

"You've got that right, Mic! Phobos' black flame quirk looks near unstoppable, but the sheer durability of Sergei's demonic form may be enough to withstand those flames and take him down! And I think it's time we find out if he really can! Let's begin the first match!" Present Mic announced as I let out a sigh. 

"Guess waiting is finally over..." I said to myself as I got up from sitting on my table and walked towards my door. 

"Just gotta win this match and hope Josh wins his next one. Then it'll be the two of us in the semis." I said as I opened up and left my room, heading towards my entry gate where I would wait once again to be called into the arena. 

"After what seemed to be a mind-bowing opening round of 16, I don't know how these fights can escalate even further! But this first match of the quarter finals may just show us all how! Let's bring in our combatants!" Present Mic announced as I was signaled to start walking in.
