Old Rivalry

And there you have it!! Phobos has defied the odds once more, taking down the near unstoppable Trini and advancing to the final match of the International Sports Festival! And let me tell you, debating on who should win in their fight too a few days of thought. Back and forth it went but ultimately, Phobos' greater offensive power, defensive capabilities, and speed edged him over Trini. So that makes Todoroki, plus the Russian and British number one students he's beaten. Yeah, Phobos has had the toughest line up BY FAR out of anyone else. And now, it's time to find out who's gonna be his opponent in the grand championship. Cry or Bakugo? Who you got? It's another insanely close one, a match up that went back and forth over and over again. But, there was a clear winner in the end, now let's find out who it is. Enjoy!

-POV: Cry-

"So..... Phobos is first to make it to the end, huh? Hell, he's shocked me..... Didn't think he'd get past.... Todoroki, Sergei..... And Trini in a row.... but.... I guess he's.... full of hidden..... talent....." I said to myself, doing one armed pull-ups with a bar I created in my room. I dropped down since I knew my match was coming up soon. I walked over to my table and picked up a bottle of water, opening it with one hand as I gulped down over half of it in one swig. 

"If I win my next match, then it'll be interesting to see how things will go down when I technically face one of my own students." I said to myself as I put down the water bottle and reached over the table to pick up my diamond right arm that I laid down on top of it. I reattached it to my right shoulder as I took in a few calm and collected breaths. 

"Bakugo, eh? Jeez, it's been a while since I've fought him now that I think about it. Not since last years semi-finals of the U.A festival. But, I had a completely different quirk back then. I haven't fought him once with my new quirk. Might change the tide in his favor this time." I thought as the P.A system came on in my room. 

"Competitor Cryshiki, your match will begin shortly. Please make your way to your entry gate." The voice on it said as it cut out.

"Alright Bakugo, time to see if you've stepped up your game since last time." I said as I made a portal appear in front of me. I stepped through it and came out right at my entry gate. 

"We're just moments away, folks, from what might be the most anticipated match of this entire tournament!! I guarantee when the bracket was first revealed, seeing both Cry and Bakugo on the same side set them on a collision course with each other!! And that beautiful dream has come true on this day!!! Everyone here and also those watching on TV will witness the conclusion this this epic rivalry that began last year during the U.A sports festival!! WHO WILL WIN!? CRY!? OR BAKUGO!? IT'S TIME WE FIND OUT RIGHT NOW!! LET'S BRING THEM OUT!!" Present Mic spoke to the entire stadium as the crowd cheered even more and much louder than they'd ever cheered before.

"First up!! With his nigh-unstoppable quirk, he blazed past both Lisa and Harper to make it to this point!! He's gonna hit you with a Boehemian Slapsody! Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Here on this stage, there's no escaping his reality! Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for Tenshonoma Cryshiki!!!!" All Might announced with a roaring voice as I walked into the arena, waving to the crowd with the biggest smile on my face. I was no stranger to this feeling now, and it felt so awesome every time I came out. 

"Blasting his way through both Colson and Amelia, he's ready to duke it out once more with his fated rival!! He's a grim reaper with a chip on his shoulder!! Back from the dead to reclaim his throne, he's gonna blow you up so bad that you won't be going home. Here comes Katuski Bakugo!!!!" Present Mic screamed as my opponent made his way into the arena. He didn't bother to wave, or even smile for that matter. He was only concerned with one thing. Me. And I could see his eyes were filled with a burning rage. A rage that's been building for an entire year.
