Sorry for the long wait everyone! I had to update some of my other stories so that's why it took so long for this chapter to come out. But we're finally back and getting even deeper into this epic arc! Kira and the vigilantes take down Poppy and have now joined Queen's squad as they ready to storm the Injustice Squad's base of operations. And the battles to come for them are certainly gonna be amazing. Then there's the other side of the coin with the 8 students who went off to stop the nuke. Ryan's group certainly has a huge wall in front of them now that Gregory has come into play. Who knows how they'll be able to beat him. Now, let's get back into the story, but from a different side of thing. Enjoy!
-POV: Third Person-
On the other side of the stadium, the group lead by Stella was currently making their way down their hallway. But no entrances into the arena appeared open, and they'd almost made it to the halfway point within the arena.
"No.... no..... no..... God damn it! Isn't there any doors freakin' open around here!?" Stella questioned as the she, Colson, Phil, and Jackson arrived at the halfway point, all the way across from where they started.
"The others aren't here yet. Think we should wait for them? Or just keep going in case they found a way inside?" Jackson asked.
"We don't have the time to stay here. We need to keep moving and find a way to get to that bomb. Come on, let's g-" Stella began to say as a gunshot went off. The bullet penetrated Stella right in the centre of her chest and she collapsed to the ground, her friends huddling around to assist her.
"Well, well, well, what to we got here? Some lost kids lookin' to die." Killer said as he came walking around a corner, a revolver in his right hand as he holstered it.
"What the hell did you do!? You asshole!!" Colson shouted as Killer just laughed at them all.
"What does it look like? I shot her. Now she's dead, and you three are gonna follow soon." Killer said as he rubbed his hands together. But as proud and happy as he was, the smirk on his face quickly went away when Stella got up.
"Damn.... that really stung...." She said in a bit of pain as Killer saw the bullet wound had completely healed already.
"What in the hell? You got some sort of regenerating quirk, girly?" Killer asked as Stella stood up along with everyone else.
"Got that right. There's nothing you can do that'll keep me down." Stella told him as Killer pulled out a machete and held it in his left hand.
"We'll see about that after I cut that pretty little head off. Now.... who's first?" Killer asked the students as Jackson sprinted forward.
"Can't waste any time, so let's take this asshole down fast!" He shouted as Killer activated his quirk. He shut down Jackson's hearing and sense of smell, and dulled his vision when he got close. Killer then readied his weapon to kill Jackson but as he went for his swing, Stella rushed in and knocked Jackson away, taking the hit for him. Killer swung the machete and slashed about halfway through her chest.
"Oh, I can tell you're gonna be annoyin'." Killer said as he pulled out the blade and watched as Stella's wound regenerated almost instantly.
"You got that right!" Stella shouted as she swung her right fist at him. But Killer leaned his head to his right and avoided the punch. He then grabbed her arm and literally chopped it off with one swing of his weapon, making Stella scream and fall back in pain. But her quirk was already kicking into action so it wouldn't be long until she was up again.
"Bastard! You'll pay for that!!" Colson shouted as he came running in next.
"Is that so? Here, catch!" Killer yelled as he threw Stella's arm at him. Colson easily let it strike him and he kept on moving forward. And as the arm hit him, Killer suddenly got knocked back a bit, feeling like he'd been punched in the face.
