And our new arc begins. And, as a special surprise, it's more focused on the students of class 2. Yeah, the first half of the last chapter is the ONLY time you'll see class 1, besides Cry, of course. This internship arc is gonna be awesome, you guys have no idea. So much planned. Now, it's not gonna be like the normal MHA internship arc, there's not gonna be a hero killer, even though you see Stain in the gif above. No we're diving into another important aspect of the hero world and you'll find out what that is later in this chapter. Now, it's time we get back to our 5 girl squad and Cry as they head out to do some real hero work. Enjoy!
-POV: Amelia-
*BZZZ BZZZ BZZZ!!!* My alarm clock went as I might as well of smash it off. I slowly raised myself up through and out of my bed covers as I let out a big yawn to greet the new day. A bit of sunlight peered through my curtains and was hitting me right in the eye, it blinding me until I raised up my right hand to block it.
"Someone turn down the sun......" I said, still very tired as I slid out of my bed and changed into some more proper clothes. I went and downstairs to have my breakfast, today was a 3 egg omelette with cheese and green peppers, thanks to my mom who was like the best chef in the world, at least in my opinion.
"And in other news, local hero, Spectrum, has reportedly lost the ability to use his quirk. His hospitalization will be extended until the source and a cure is discovered." I heard a news reporter say over the TV, but I didn't listen very much.
"Probably just the side effects of some medicine...." I said as I scarfed down my breakfast and then went upstairs to brush my teeth and fix up my hair. Today felt like a ponytail day.
"You all set, honey? Don't want you to be late for your internship!" I heard my mother shout to me from down the hall as I just finished tying my hair.
"Yeah, i'll be right there!" I said as I grabbed my backpack, thinking I may need it today before putting on my shoes and heading to the front door. My mother was waiting there for me so she could drive me to school. We left our relatively small home in the suburbs and began our drive to P.H.
"So, you said your interning with that boy who came in second during the Festival, right?" My mother asked me.
"Yeah, I am. Him and another student are the current acting teachers for Class 1 at school. And, he's offered to take a few of us out." I explained to my mom.
"He's cute, you know. And you could use a decent man in your life." My mom said as I suddenly started coughing on my own air.
"Mom!? I'm not interested!! Stop saying that stuff!! Wait until after I graduate!!" I shouted as she just laughed away.
"Sorry, I couldn't help it. What's he gonna do with you out there?" Mom asked me as I just shrugged my shoulders.
"No clue. He just said hero work, but that can mean a lot of things. And, if nothing really happens today then I feel like today might be a bust." I said as my mother agreed with me.
"I guess hero work can mean a lot of things. Saving people, stopping a crime, there's a bunch of stuff. But, with so many options, i'm sure you'll encounter a situation today to tide you guys over. Just promise you'll be careful, okay?" My mother said as I gave her a nod.
"Careful? I'm the girl who can't even be scratched. I could fall from the freakin' Empire State Building and be totally fine. I think i'll be fine." I jokingly told my mother as we both laughed a bit. And soon enough, we arrived at P.H. She dropped me off at the front gate before leaving and I entered into the grounds.
