(Y/n)'s pov:

"F-Fuyuhiko!"

I walked around the house, more like a mansion. I was looking for Fuyuhiko since Natsumi was off to another training session. Even though she is the middle child, she is still considered the strongest one out of all of us.

I have the creativity (somewhat brains) Natsumi has the knowledge, and Fuyuhiko has the pried.
But due to me being weak, and Fuyuhiko not having the 'appearance' of a 'strong Kuzuryu', we aren't considered for the next heir.

But Natsumi and I both know Fuyuhiko is all worthy of the title.

I couldn't care less. Father and Mother both scare me so if I ever have the chance to get away, I will.

Anyways, plus, I just wanted to talk to him and Peko.

I walked and walked around the house endlessly, checking every door and every room.
Not before I checked the back doors.

That's where I found Fuyuhiko sitting on the ground with Peko next to him.

I carefully approached them before my eyes met Fuyuhiko's arm and Peko's leg.

"F-fuyuhiko! Are you ok!"

I quickly approached them looking at their wounds.

"Hey (Y/n), it's nothing, I'm okay."

He gestured for me to get closer, he cupped his arms around my ear.

"Don't tell dad, but I and Peko went out, but remember don't tell anyone. Or I'll cut off your fingers."

I giggled, I look up to my brother, he is so cool and doesn't go by the rules that Father gives us.

"Young master, I'll come back for some materials to heal our wounds."

Fuyuhiko nodded, Peko getting up and excusing herself.

"Um, Fuyuhiko, can I tell you something?"

"Shoot."

"So, you know how I'm turning 15 soon right? And how I haven't been to a public school yet? Maybe just maybe you could ask Father if for my birthday present I could go to public school, maybe?"

Fuyuhiko closed his eyes while pinching his nose.

"I'll have to see. But, you know it might be a good idea since I'm going off to that new Highschool or whatever."

"Hope's Peak Academia, young master."

"Right. So I can convince dad to let you go since I'm going off."

My eyes shine with hope and amazement.

My brother could do anything for me.

"Now Peko, when you go off with Fuyu, promise me you'll come back, cuz I want to talk to you more!"

She just smiled and nodded.

After some time Peko helped with both of their wounds. We chatted for a bit before I went off to my room again for lessons.
Which were more of 'let's see how many ideas we can get out of (Y/n)'.
Father makes me every day come up with something that can improve the clan. It's kind of annoying how I'm not allowed to show others how I contribute to the clan, since 'woman cant be parts of the Yakuza clan'.

After some time Fuyuhiko, Peko, and I both went off to our schools.
Soon to meet again and reunite.

"What do you mean Peko isn't with you!? You are a man! You're supposed to value what I give you."

I stared off as my Father confronted Fuyuhiko. He arrived back from school empty-handed.
A cold slap could be heard before my father walked off, leaving Fuyuhiko and me alone.

I stood silently with my head down.

"You aren't going to welcome me?"

His empty voice spoke.

I couldn't even look him in the eyes after what happened.

"I said, aren't you going to Welcome me."

He said with more sturdiness.

I slowly shook my head while I tried to not let my tears fall. My throat felt heavy and my eyes sting.

"Hey hey, (Y/n), it's okay-"

He went in for a hug.
As soon as his hands touch me, I turned away in disgust.

Not in disgust with him.
In disgust of physical touch, in disgust with myself.

"P-please don't!"

I couldn't hold it in any longer. My tears fell from my face, a sob escaping my lips.

"P-please don't l-leave me again! P-please."

I ran for a hug. A hug of comfort. I ignored the part of my body telling me 'danger'. I just needed a hug.
I sobbed and sobbed.

"It's okay, I'm here."

"B-but, you weren't there w-when I! Needed you..."

I broke away from the hug and held his hand. Slowly dragging him outside. Into the garden and into our hideout.
The hideout we used to play around as kids. The hideout Peko helped build.

"Tell me, what's wrong."

We sat down. I tried to catch my breath to speak. But only sobs came out.

"P-p-please, p-please! D-don't tell a-anyone!"

"I promise. I'll let you cut my finger if I ever say anything."

"W-when I was o-off to school, s-someone came I-into my dorm w-while I-I was sleeping, a-and um, t-they t-t-touched me. A-and D-did other stuff. I-I tried to tell s-someone, but t-they blamed me! F-Fuyuhiko I-I swear I d-dint want it to happen! I-I was just t-trying to sleep! P-"

"C-can I hug you?"

I nodded.
He carefully hugged me, he patted my head and softly whispered things into my ear. 'It's ok' 'I'm here' 'you're strong'.

After some time I melted into the hug and rested my head against his shoulder.

He had gone through so much, losing one of his best friends. And he still comforted me.
