Chapter 10. girl's time

(Y/n)'s pov:

But that stopped as I felt a strong grip on my hand.

I looked behind me to meet Maki's red eyes staring at me.

"Didn't Miu tell you all the girls were meeting up here?"

She spoke with her monotone voice as she stared into my eyes.

"Rantaro my man! All the guys are meeting in the gym! So hurry up!"

Kaito yelled from across the room, waving to get Rantaro's attention.

"I'll see you later (Y/n)"

He smiled before we went to talk to Kaito, presumably to talk about the meetup.

I put all my attention back on Maki.

"Oh right! Um, where are all the others?"

"Getting their stuff, we'll be sleeping in the dining room, so bring a pillow and blanket. Meet in the dorm building."

"And your stuff? Do you want to walk with me to the dorms?"

I asked shyly, it wouldn't hurt to get to know her more, right?

She shifted her stare to the side, thinking to herself for a second.
She shrugged and lightly smiled.

I smiled in response.

We started to walk through the hallways, back to the dorms.

"So, (Y/n) tell me more about your Ultimate."

Her voice echoing through the silent hallway.

"Well, I guess I'm The Ultimate dreamer. Come's in handy when coming up with plans or ideas. When I'm dreaming I can also remember certain parts, like hidden memories, you know?"

I explain certain facts about my Ultimate, walking outside to get to the dorms, occasionally tripping on weeds or cracks in the cement.

She seemed to be amused, a hint of pleasure on her face.

"And you?"

"I wasn't given the opportunity to develop my own Ultimate. I was thrown into an Orphanage, like one of the older children, I had to help out. The kids just were attracted to me, like I was a magnet."

"Oh, well they could sense your kind side!"

A soft laugh escaped her lips.
She seemed to be fond of my comment. At least I made her happy.

Soon enough we reached the dorm building. My dorm was on the top the same as Maki.

We waved off soon to meet again and entered our assigned dorm room.

Maybe I could find an extra blanket or pillow in my closet?

I looked but I only found a fluffy (f/c) stuffed animal. That could be useful.

I guess am going to take the blankets off my bed, thank god my bed has layers of blankets.
I grabbed a pillow from the bed and placed the items on top of the now messed up bed from pulling a blanket from it.
