Last day of school
Today I woke up a little early so I could take everything in and try to gather my thoughts. I stayed in bed for about 30 minutes just checking my texts, watching all the tik toks Molly had sent me and just thinking about how my last day would go. The saddest part is that Molly had already left for college a year before me since she was older, and I was going to have to spend this day alone.
So, after a while I got up took a nice long shower and got ready. I'm not really a girly girl I more so dress for myself just comfy clothes. I also really like painting or sewing random patterns to make them a little different sometimes. However today I wanted to try something different, so I choose this:
I know it looks basic, but you have to understand no one in my school has ever seen me in a skirt so that shows you how out of my comfort zone that is. So, I grabbed my bag and went downstairs taking my keys and going to my car. I skipped breakfast since I usually feel sick in the morning.
My school is a quick 10-minute drive away and there's usually no traffic, so I got there pretty fast. I parked my car and went to my locker. I decided to come early today and clean it out. I had a lot of stuff there since my locker was a bit big. I went through everything, there was a lot of trash, but I also found a lot of good memories.
After I took all my stuff back to my car I headed to class. I sat down at my seat and didn't even focus on the lesson, since my mind got flooded with memories I've had here. I didn't even notice the class had ended until my friend patted my shoulder and told me to get up.
The day flew by and now was time for a senior last day tradition – the water fight. After classes ended, we all got changed and went to the football field. Everyone got split into two teams and we filled a bunch of water guns, balloons and even just buckets. The PE teacher had a bullhorn and as the seconds were counted down everyone got ready to attack. She blew the horn, and we all went haywire. I remember trying to throw a water balloon at a girl, but it ended up hitting the most popular guy in our class. The look on his face said that I was dead. And in a second I saw him running to me with 2 water guns. So, the only thing that came to mind was to take a giant balloon and run towards him. By the end I was soaked and lying on the grass. And the rest is history....
