Still You

We were both inlove
People would easily figure it out.

I can see,
The way you played your old guitar :
Eyes closed while hitting the right chords
And me staring at you singing the lyrics
Of our newly written song.
When I said, "I always feel like time suddenly stop when I'm with you" is cliché
But baby, right now you're the only one I see.

Everything I remembered,
From your surprises that always gave me shivers,
Even the wildest flowers you silly picked up somewhere.

The sweetest poems you ever made,
Each other's hands that's perfectly weaved,
Stolen kisses pretending you were not caught
Oh, I almost forgot that we were still youth.

But time begins to lay its test.
I got scared,
I broke my promise,
Letting myself stricken by Daddy's threat.
Though wanting you so badly,
I let you slipped away.

Time passed by
And you were back.
I said, "Sorry, I just miss you. Did I hurt you so much?"
I thought you would turn around and walk yourself out,
But you stayed
You came close and gave me a hug.

Hold me tight
I don't want this day to end
Feel my soul
You will know I didn't change
Hear my heart
It still screams your name,
Oh the spark's still there,
It's always been there.

Cause I don't want to walk away
Like what I did before
Tired of being drown to fears
When I'm only hurting myself

Years have been wasted
But baby, it's always been you
You, still you, forever you.
