Someone Else's Story

I'm the kind of person who doesn't talk to stranger
But something came up,
When you asked for a picture
A picture of us
You and me,
On our first day of class.

People came rushing on our way but you didn't care,
Instead you smiled so innocently and stared like I was the only one you see.
I'm telling you now,
I don't believe in love at first sight
But that day,
You took my breath away

Was flustered when you said you felt the same
But was more scared since we know it's too deap
Full of worriness,
Anxiousness and undeniably tensed
It all faded when I saw your face

Babe, could we stop time for a bit?
Could we stay still and feel each other's heartbeat?
You're a beautiful rose everyone wants to have,
And I'm just me,
A leaf who fell for you very hard
This love may be forbidden,
But no one could make us apart, not again

You ask my friends it's not my style to be selfish,
But can't help it when you casually talk with someone else
Someone else, someone and not me
All I can think is to walk away
Your voice is all I could hear,
You seems so worried,
Gone was your smile and you chose to hug me though you didn't know what's into me

Was relieved when you finally understand
But was more delighted when you uttered the words: "She's just my friend. Though we talk, your name keeps lingering through my head."
Truly unforgettable
Vibrant and so original
All I can see by merely looking at you

Babe, could we watch again the sunset?
Could we go back to the day when we first met?
