Part 12

Days passed. Naina was speedily recovering after her meet with her little life. Wedding was coming up unknowingly and it's rememberance was far away from naina's mind. Sameer got busy in his work while suman stayed up with Naina. Samaira used to pay visits after the school in the afternoon till night and slept with Naina only at weekends.

"Chinta mat Karo munna. Saari arrangements aaram se ho jaaengi. Tum aur tumhara parivaar nishchint hokar aaram se aana. Sab Kuch ho jaaega."
"Arey Sameer, Naina kaisi hai ?? Usse toh contact me hoon Nahi. Tumhari toh padosi hai. Tum hi bata do. Kaisi hai wo aur Samaira ??"
Sameer paused. He can't tell Munna about Naina. He'll get worried and it's wedding at his home. He chose to stay silent.
"Hello Sameer ??" asked Munna
"Hhhaan"
"Naina aur Samaira kaise hain ?"
"Ttheek hain. Dono ekdum theek Hain."
"Chal theek fir. Karta hoon mai call jab kaam Hoga toh. Theek chal bye"
"Bye"
Call ended. But sameer's heartbeats were raising and lowering. He lied. He lied for some unknown person. Not unknown to his heart but unknown to time and mind.

"Naina wo Munna ... Munna Ka call aaya tha Shaadi ki saari arrangements jaan'ne ke liye. Wo Tumhare aur Samaira ke baare me pooch Raha tha"
"Tumne usey bataya toh Nahi ki Mai" asked Naina in shock.
"Nahi bataya. Mujhe Laga tha ki tum Nahi chahogi ki usey pata chale aur Shaadi wala Ghar hai. Yuhi tension ho jaati phir"
"Thank you Sameer. Accha Hua Nahi bataya. Warna fir Munna Swati ko batata, fir Swati Preeti ko aur Preeti pandit ko. Baat poori phail jaati" sighed Naina.
"Pandit ... Preeti swati ... Munna" murmured Sameer holding his head.
"Kya Hua sameer ??" asked Naina seeing his changed expressions.
"Munna ... Pppandit ... Ughh"
"Sameer kya hua ??" asked Naina again keeping her hand on his shoulder and continued "Sameer tum ... Tum theek toh ho?? Lo paani piyo" passed the glass to him in concern. Emptying the glass he sat calm for some moments and asked " Ye pandit Preeti swati ... Ye kaun Hain ?? Mai inhe ... Inhe ..."
"Sameer !!!!!" screamed Naina as he couldn't complete his sentence and went down on the floor, unconscious. Listening to naina's scream, nurse came in and saw Sameer lying. She quickly called the ward boys and took him to some ward for check up.
"Sister Sameer. Kkya Hua usey ??" asked Naina with tearful eyes.
"Abhi ward me leke Gaye Hain. Aap chinta mat kariye. Aaram kijiye" assured the nurse.

"Unhe achanak se Chakkar aa Gaye the Kisi cheez ke baare me wo bohot zyada Soch rahe the isliye. Wo theek Hain. Abhi thodi Der me aa jaaenge Aapke pass" told nurse and left.
"Kisike baare me Soch rahe the ... Pandit Preeti swati ..." thought Naina but nothing made her clear. She closed her eyes and laid back on the bed.

"Suman aunty palso Sunday hai na. Kal laat ko Mai Mumma ke paas hi rukungi. Yay." said samaira joyfully.
"Haan chalo ab jaldi se Mooh haath dho lo. Mai Khana lagati hoon" said Suman.

"Pata hai suman aunty Monday ko humare school me singing competition hai. Mujhe bhi usme part Lena hai."
"Are waah le Lena"
"Pal Mumma se toh poochna padega na. Unse kaise poochun ?? Haan aap sameel uncle ko phone Kalo. Mujhe Mumma se Baat kalni hai"
"Pehle khaana finish Karo fir Karna Baat"
"Ok"

"Hello sameel uncle"
"Hello meri princess. Khana kha liya Aapne ??"
"Haan. Mumma ne kha liya ??"
"Haan Mumma ne bhi kha liya. Ab batao kaise phone kiya. Mumma se Baat Karni ??"
"Haan. Aap phone speaker par daal lo. Aap bhi sun Lena aur Mumma bhi sun lengi"
"Ok. Daal liya. Ab bolo"
"Meri pari kaisi hai ??" asked Naina looking at phone and then at Sameer.
"Mumma Mai acchi hoon. Aap kaisi ho"
"Mai bhi bilkul theek hoon meri bacchi. School Kaisa chal Raha hai. Padhai Acche se ho rahi Hai na"
"Haan Mumma. Sab Accha hai. Acha Mumma Monday ko school me singing competition hai aur mujhe bhi usme part Lena hai"
"Aapko Lena hai ?? Arey waah ye toh acchi Baat Hai. Bilkul le lo"
"Le toh Mai loongi magar mujhe koi bhi gaana Acche se Nahi aata"
"Ohh. Ab kya karein ??" said Naina thoughtfully.
"Mai sikha doonga" popped sameer's voice in between. "Mai sikha doonga princess ko"
"Aapko Aata hai uncle ??" asked Samaira confirming.
"Yes my dear. School aur colleges me bohot gaata tha"
Sameer and Naina lost in the moment. Reminded on their school and college memories and the memories of her dearest Sameer filled Naina's eyes with tears while Sameer got some not so clear flashbacks.
"Toh theek hai uncle. Aap sikha dena. Bye." said samaira breaking their chain of thoughts.
"Ok bye" said samaina.

"Sameer Mera discharge kab hai ??"
"Next week. Is week under observation rakhenge. Agar sab Kuch theek Raha toh next week discharge Kar denge."
"Uff ! Mai toh thak gayi hoon yahan. Ghar jaana hai mujhe" said Naina irritated.
"Bas isi week ki Baat hai. Time par dawayi lo aur apna Acche se dhyaan rakho." said Sameer smiling at her. Naina too smiled back at him.

"Toh batao kya topic Mila hai competition me ?? Kaisa gaana prepare Karna hai ??"
"Luko Mai apni diary dikhati hoon. Mam ne usme likhkar Diya hai"

"Toh kaunsa gaana uncle ??"
"Ek kaam karta hai hoon, Mai tumhe 5 gaane sunata hoon. Fir tum choose karo ok"
"Ok uncle"

Sameer plays - Pehla Nasha, Aate Jaate, Pehla Pehla Pyaar, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Tujhe Dekha toh ye Jaana Sanam.

"Toh batao, kaunsa Accha Laga ??"
"Uncle ye toh saale hi kitne Acche Hain. Ek choose kalna toh bohot mushkil hai. Phir bhi isme se best toh wo Aate Jaate Hashte Gaate wo Salman khan wala."
Sameer's eyes shone bright and he said "That's my favourite song princess !" And kissed her forehead lovingly.
"Ok so start karte Hain"
"Yay"

"Samaira ki diary check Karti hai na Tu ?? Koi important notice toh likha class teacher ne ??" Asked Naina.
"Nahi Baba. Mai Roz Karti hoon uski diary check. Abhi has ye singing competition Ka hi Likha Aaya hai. Baaki toh timetable aur books Ka hi rehta hai." assured suman.
"Phir theek hai" sighed Naina. Seeing suman's face faded with some thought, Naina asked "Kya Hua ?? Kuch batana hai kya ?? Kuch pareshaan lag rahi hai"
"Nnnahi aisa toh Kuch Nahi hai" defended suman.
"Suman sach sach bata, kya Baat Hai ??" asked Naina seriously.
"Naina wo ... Wo log Kuch Dinon pehle Samaira se Baat Karne ki koshish Kar rahe the" opened up suman.
Naina's face faded and she gave a horrified look to suman. Before Naina could speak up, suman said "Chinta mat kar. Mai wahin thi aur isliye Maine unhe Uske paas Nahi aane Diya aur usey Ghar le aayi."
"Unhone usey Kuch Kiya toh Nahi na ???" asked Naina scared as hell.
"Nahi Naina. Wo bilkul theek hai. Tu shaant reh. Tu bilkul chinta mat Kar" calmed suman.
"Phone ... Samaira ko phone lagao please ... Please suman" requested Naina.
"Haan Haan Mai lagati hoon. You please calm down."

"Arey Dekho Mumma Ka phone aa Raha. Hello"
"Hello Sameer. Samaira se Baat karao please." exclaimed scared Naina.
"Kya Hua tum itni ghabrayi hui kyu ho ??" asked Sameer worriedly.
"Tum bas baat karao" exclaimed Naina irritably.
"Ok. Lo Samaira"
"Hello Mumma aap kaisi ho ??"
"Meri princess theek toh hai na ??? Aap bilkul theek ho na ?? Maine aapko Kaha hai na ki strangers se bilkul baat mat Karna, wo Kuch dein toh mat Lena ok. Koi bhi aapse aakar Baat Karne ki koshish kare toh mat Karna ok. Na school me na colony me. School me agar Kuch galat lage toh seedha teacher ke paas jaana aur agar park me toh seedha daudkar suman aunty ke paas aa Jana"
"Haan Mumma mujhe pata hai. Aap mujhe humesha ye batati ho"
"Jitna Kaha hai utna samjho. Zyada zubaan chalane ki zaroorat Nahi hai. Jitni Baar kahungi utni Baar Sunna aur samajhna padega. Samjhi. Apna dhyaan rakhna aur Acche se practice karna gaane ki. Sameer uncle ko phone do."
"Haan bolo Naina" said Sameer putting the speaker off.
"Kaunsa gaana taiyaar Kara rahe ho ?? Topic kya hai ?? Koi accha sa gaana Karana"
"Topic hai Bollywood 90s songs" answered Sameer.
"Omg 90s Bollywood ???" Naina's excited voice boomed.
"Haan. Mujhe bhi bohot Khushi hui thi ye jaankar. Mai usey Maine Pyaar Kiya Ka aate jaate sikha Raha hoon" said Sameer.
Naina's eyes filled with tears yet smile stretched on her face.
"Arey waah ye toh bohot Accha gaana hai. Jab sikha do toh sunwana"
"Ok. Chalo rest Karo. Bye."

"Kaunsa gaana ??"
"Aate Jaate" replied Naina happily yet  sorrowfully.
"Kya Tumhare Sameer ki yaadein Judi Hain ??" asked suman plainly.
"Sabse pehli aur sabse meethi Yaad" smile appeared on her face.
