DISCUSSION 1:
2×14, the kiss

Hello everyone! This chapter (and the following ones) is going to be a little bit differnt from the others. We are going to discuss about some Jeronica/Vughead scenes and see that Jughead is secretly in love with Veronica.

So, as all of you know, in Season 2, Episode 14 of CW's Riverdale, Jughead and Veronica share a short kiss at the Lodge lodge. Shall we start? Okay, first of all, after Betty, Archie, Jughead and Veronica arrive at the Lodge lodge, Jughead gets a call from Cheryl, which informs him about the Barchie kiss, that happened to be in front of the Thistlehouse and Cheryl saw them. When Jughead ended the call, he noticed Veronica and Archie looking at him and you can say, that he gave to his best friend a small glare. After Betty and Jughead cleared the things between them and confirmed that it was just a meaningless kiss, Jughead felt a little bit more relieved. In my point of view, the reason that Jughead got mad is because when Betty asked him if he did anything during to their small break, he was being completely honest about Toni and when he asked her, she said nothing about Archie. The thing didn't stop there, though. At the living room, Veronica suggested to go in the hot tub and relax from the whole situation. You can all notice Jughead smiling at himself when Veronica passed by him (and touched him) when she went to made the japaleños maragritas.

IN THE HOT TUB

Veronica and Archie, Betty and Jughead. Bughead and Varchie, Varchie and Bughead. You wish. Veronica comes up with the idea to kiss Jughead, so that would clear the air amongst them. Did it, though? We'll find out soon, don't worry. While Veronica starts talking about her suggestion without saying at first what her point was, Jughead and the other two seem confused but curious. The fact that Jughead instantly smiled and his face brightened up with the iconic line "Jughead and I...should kiss", as most of you believe, is because of Archie's extremely jealous face. Yes, yes, it's possibly because of this. But Jughead making a whole statement about a Vughead, as he says, is kinda weird, right? Like, he has been planning it with Veronica since they arrived at the Lodge lodge. Archie's even more extremely jealous face, when Jughead was stating the facts of a kiss with Veronica, made me laugh, too. Come on, admit it! It was the most hilarious thing that happened in Season 2. Anyway, when Jughead finished saying "It's just a stupid kiss, right?", Veronica smiled, got up and walked to Jughead. His face when she started getting closer made me die from laughter. He was clearly super nervous. But why? It was just a stupid kiss...Right? Veronica put her hands on each of his cheeks and got a little bit closer.

"Jughead, don't freak out. Just trust me."

Jughead trusted her? Yes. He did. You know, he could easily deny her suggestion and say: "I don't have to kiss you, Veronica. Betty and I talked and we cleared the air amongst us, and so should you and Archie do if you still feel awkward about it.", couldn't he? But he INSISTED on kissing Veronica, so part of him may wanted to do that. Some of you may prove me wrong, but remember that it's just an opinion. Everybody has an opinion, which has to be respected by others.

Anyways, where were we? Ah, yeah, when Veronica finally kissed Jughead. What all we, Vughead/Jeronica fans have been waiting for. Jughead didn't excactly kiss back, but you can all see Veronica enjoying herself. Look at the following pictures and tell me if I'm wrong.
