As Izuku and Gran Torino arrived at EdgeShot's agency the old pro explained the situation to EdgeShot's secretary that there was a mix up and Izuku Midoriya wanted to know if EdgeShot could still train him.

When the secretary had paged him there was a massive commotion that came from his office as she had forgotten to mention he was in a meeting with Gang Orca and Miruko. Suddenly the elevator opened and the three top pros who wanted to train Izuku were fighting one another to see who would train him.

“I’m telling ya two, the kid needs good hand to hand combat training. I can help him with that.” “That incident in the finals proves he needs to understand situations where he has to be calm and calculating. I would be far better at that than any of you.” “And what about that attack he used during his fight with Endeavor’s son Orca? It seemed unrefined to me. If I can help him find a way to make his style more precise, he could be on par with any pro at the time.”

The trio stopped when they saw Izuku holding in the urge to fanboy at the moment. ‘Holy crap, the 5th, 6th, and 10th ranked pro heroes in the flesh. Common Izuku, you need to make the best first impression during this. Just stay calm and say something!’ “H-hello.” Izuku immediately bowed at the three while apologizing. “I’m sorry for any inconveniences I may have caused. It would be an honor to learn under you.”

The three were silent until Miruko busted out in laughter. “HAHAHAHA! That has got to be the funniest thing I’ve seen! The kid’s so tense that he looks like he’s about to piss his pants!” The pro had held her sides as everyone looked at her. “He’s strong enough to stand stronger than some of the most powerful people in his year, but he still looks like a little kid who’s scared to ask someone if they want to be friends!” Out of everyone there, only the rabbit hero found this hilarious among the six in the area.

“Forgive her Midoriya, Miruko can be a touch rude at times.” Gang Orca held his hand out as a way of welcoming the boy. “I-it’s a pleasure to meet you Mr. Gang Orca sir.” “Just Gang Orca is fine and there is no need to be so tense.” “Y-yes sir.” After Miruko’s little laughing spree, the five went up to Edgeshot’s office to discuss the issue.

“To be simple, it would appear there was a mix up with the paper Midoriya filled out. Someone had gotten the info wrong and gave him my address instead of your’s Edgeshot.” “Interesting.” The pro looked at Izuku to begin asking a few questions. “Midoriya, what would you say about learning on the field with the three of us?” He was confused as he explained the situation. “You see, our agencies have been asked to work together in a joint case where we will be working to find the Hero Killer. Would you be interested in joining us for that?”

“It would be an honor sir.” Izuku held his head down as a way to bow again. “Thank you very much for the offer and I will gladly accept it if you think I am worthy of it.” “Wait a minute.” Miruko looked at Izuku closer to realize something. “You’re that kid Ryukyu’s been helping, aren’t you?” “Y-yes. Ms. Ryukyu has been helping me greatly. It’s thanks to the training she’s given me that I can be the hero in training I am today.” “I’m liking this kid more and more. If you don’t want him Edgy, I’m more than willing to teach him!”

With their joking aside, Edgeshot started to talk with Izuku over the finite things. “So what exactly would you like to learn? We can help with that along with teaching you the finer things of pro hero work.” “Well, I wanted to find out a way to make the life energy I use more a long range move. I have the basics down, but I need to be very careful how I use it.”

Gang Orca pulled out a small weight to place on the desk. “Show us what you got kid.” Izuku absorbed the energy while placing the rusted dust of the weight in the trash. “Anything specific to target?” “The plant over there I was planning to get rid of. If you’d like, aim for that.” Izuku focused the energy in the palm of his hand in a small dart sized item before shooting it and aiming at the plant 30 feet away.
