The next morning after the humiliating defeat of Katsuki bakugou he woke up in his dorm room feeling nothing but absolute pain in his body. “Shit, what happened?” He began glancing around the room to notice a paper with Midnight’s handwriting on it. He read the note to himself with nothing but pure rage and hatred in his mind.
In case you forget, you picked a fight with Midoriya last night with intent to return to the hero course. You lost and now must accept your punishment for being in the general studies course with no complaints or taunting of the hero course students again. You break this, and you will be suspended with the possibility of expulsion in the mix depending on what you do.
Midnight.
“Grrr, DEKU YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!!” “Dude! It’s 5 in the morning, shut up!” “GO TO HELL YOU STUPID EXTRA!”
Meanwhile with Izuku
Izuku started to wake up feeling two sets of hands hugging him. He began looking down to notice both Nejire and Ochako sharing his bed with smiles on their faces. ‘What time is it.’ Izuku began looking up at the clock before Nejire pulled his head into her chest. “Mmmn, comfy.” He glanced up to see the blue haired girl with a happy grin on her face before feeling Ochako wrap around his torso and put her head on his stomach. “Ishukhu.” She mumbled his name while having a similar face to make Izuku go beet red. ‘I don’t know if I should be happy, or worried something might happen now?’ He took note though of their restful smiles to see how content both girls were to smile. ‘This is nice. Kinda wish this could last forever.’
This thought didn’t last long for his alarm to go off waking all three upon the alarm going off both Nejire and Ochako had abruptly opened their eyes and stared at Izuku. "Hehe good morning girls." Izuku said he hoped they wouldn't kill him. Nejire sent an attack towards his alarm clock, destroying it and giving Izuku an angry look."Izuku why did you set the alarm even though it's our last day off before we have to start classes again?" “Sorry, I wanted to take a small run this morning before the day fully started. Didn’t intend to wake you both.” Ochako looked at Izuku with a tired look with a bit of drool off her mouth and a bedhead from hell before doing a silent nod and falling back to sleep. “Ok, just don’t take too *yawn* long.” Nejire followed her friend as Izuku got up to put on a pair of shorts and a shirt to run in.
As he headed out and began to run, he started thinking of everything that led him here. His fall and Ryukyu training him, the exams and the USJ, the Sports Festival and Hosu, the camp and Kamino, even now with the Pro hero license exam. All these things seem like they blew past Izuku and were not a distant memory, but he still remembers the memories of when he was not who he was now very vividly. The memories are etched in him like the scars that came from them, but he won't let them stop himself knowing that they’re just memories now. “Young Midoriya.” Izuku came out of his thoughts when noticing All Might behind him in his scrawny form.
“Seems I wasn’t the only one who wanted a morning run.” The two went to a nearby bench with Izuku pulling his phone out to notice he was in a daze for a while since it was now a half hour since he left the dorms for his run. “Before anything, I want to say this to you young man.” Izuku listened silently with no real emotion as the former pro got what he needed off his chest. “I shouldn’t have said what I did to you on the roof back then. Perhaps if I didn’t, things may have been different.” “...You said what you needed to in your honest beliefs. Hypocritical maybe, but you’re not fully wrong. Pro heroes face dangers every day that anyone without a quirk would find it near impossible to face. I should’ve acknowledged this and done more for myself, but I’ve learned living in the past only hurts you and everyone around.” Izuku had gotten back up to begin running back to the dorms. “By the way, thank you for warning me prior to the pro exams.” The young boy left with All Might feeling a little better knowing he was able to do something for Izuku. However, he still felt guilty knowing he was the breaking point for the boy when he jumped. ‘Living in the past is pointless like he said, but forgetting it isn’t any better.
Few hours later
As Izuku completed his morning run he was jogging back to the dorms when he arrived it was 10 O'clock in the morning and Aizawa was outside with two familiar people. "Good morning Midoriya your parents are here to see you" before he could greet his parents he was rushed by his mother who practically almost crushed him with one of her bear hugs."good morning mom please let go I can't breathe." Once released from his mother's grip he began to take in as much oxygen as he could. "Not that I'm not happy to see you guys but why are you here?" "Well son since today was my day off I thought I'd take you and your girlfriends out for lunch in order to celebrate you guys getting licenses to do hero work. So tell the girls then shower up and hurry down." After a few minutes Izuku along with Ochako and Nejire had gone downstairs so they could head out with the Midoriya family when they arrived at a diner food was ordered and all of a sudden a crazy man waved a gun in the air and began making demands.
