As the five reunited in a small office with detective Tsukauchi and the chief of police inside. “So what did you all come up with?” Izuku answered first for the chief with what he'd gathered. “Dabi’s real name is Touya Todoroki and is the oldest son of Endeavor. After an accident where he was presumed dead, AFO found him with his mindset going...kinda south. He admitted to several burned corpse cases we’ve recently had that we can’t actually pin on anyone in particular.” Midnight was next. “Himiko Toga had a similar act from meeting a man she later knew as AFO with her ability to control her sense of interest in blood going out the door. She prided herself on being prim and proper, but suddenly found herself unable to control herself with killing people and nearly throwing up at the fact she bled them dry of their blood. The look she gave wasn’t that of what we’ve seen on her before. It was one of someone who’s betrayed her own sense of moral code and is violently sickened by it.”
Aizawa sighed while answering what he obtained. “The man in there is without a doubt Shirakumo Oboro. He said he was resurrected in a way by AFO from what he could point out and some doctor. He later found out he was in a hospital and a fully competent Nomu.” Everyone stopped when they heard what happened to the former pro hero in training. “Kurogiri was a Nomu all along?” “I’m afraid so Catalyst….We weren’t exactly fond of hearing this either.” Mic added this part with both him and Aizawa holding their heads in shame of what happened to their old friend. “What about Shigaraki?” “His real name is Tenko Shimura and accidentally killed his family when his quirk manifested. From what he’s pointed out, his father was borderline abusive to him with holding absolute hatred for heroes to a point he’d disown the lad if he ever tried to become a rescue hero like he dreamed to. As with the other three, he turned to the worst thing he could be after everyone but AFO turned their backs on him. They only realized what happened to them a few hours prior to coming here to be disgusted with himself willingly going with the death sentence if given it.”
The chief began to think on this before going to Tsukauchi who was listening to everything in the rooms through the recordings to determine if any of what they’d say would be a lie or not with his quirk. “Is any of this a lie?” “No sir. Every word that the four spoke was true.” Though they weren’t in their right minds, the four did kill many people and setting them free would cause an uproar more than there already was against heroes and society in general. However, all four would’ve easily been given a death sentence if they went on trial. Now came the issue they needed to determine. What should they do that will help everyone? “It’s not right to them to be put on trial if they weren’t even fully aware they were doing this and unable to control their actions.” “Even if we did, I’d doubt they’d get away with anything less than the death penalty.” “But if we don’t prosecute them, we look like the bad guys and our police and hero association pays the crime.”
Four of the five heroes debated this with Aizawa seeing Izuku deep in thought. “What are you thinking?” “Hmm….What if the populous ‘believes’ the four were given the death sentence out of the public’s eye to avoid any widespread madness. Nobody pieced together what Shigaraki, Kurogiri, and Dabi’s real names are, so they can get a change in what they look like along with live their lives normally.” “What about Toga? How are we gonna change her?” “New name, new hair style, new hair color. Virtually the same thing as them, but with an actual change.” “But if they’re left to the general populous, we could still be found out.” Midnight pointed out a serious point in mind. “Not to mention the records state that Shirakumo and Touya are dead.” “Not unless the records weren’t accurate and they were held hostage by the League. Not a full lie, but the truth is twisted a bit so we can handle this.” “Ok, but what should we do about the whole ‘can’t let them go in the general public’ issue?” “I think I can help with that.” All Might spoke up with explaining what he had in mind.
