When Zoe and I arrived home I was furious. I kept pacing back and forth. That bitch Natalie. I promised myself that I was going to be nice to her tonight but she knew exactly how to push my buttons. When was she going to grow up? I could feel Zoe watching me from the sofa.

"Alli, please calm down. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant. Want me to cook us something to eat?"

"NO!" I snapped. "What I WANT you to do is stay the fuck away from Natalie and stay away from that girl too!" I walked closer to where Zoe was sitting. "Do you understand me?"

"Alli, please. I don't mind staying away from Natalie, but Octavia is my friend, she makes me happy. Please, don't ask me to walk away from a friend"

I laughed but nothing was funny. I'm pissed. "I'm not ASKING you anything. I'm TELLING you!"

Zoe looked down at her lap, one of her hands playing with a strand of her hair. "Zoe" I called but she didn't meet my eyes. "You need to look at me when I'm talking to you"

Still, she said nothing and that angered me even more, I found myself grabbing her chin roughly, tilting her face towards me so I could see her.

"Allison" She whispered. Tears were running down her face as she said carefully. "You're hurting me" She knocked my hand away from her face and ran out the door.

"Zoe!" I tried to call after her but she didn't listen. "Fuck!" I ended up kicking over the trash can that sat near the door before breaking down myself. I always end up messing things up, Zoe's the best thing that has ever happened to me and I'm going to end up losing her. I walked over to the couch and tried to call her phone but after 1 ring it went straight to voicemail.

What am I supposed to do, How can I make this right?
