Chapter 15

"Hey kids we have something to tell you" My mom yells up the stairs.

We just got home from school. I've calmed down since Rowan asked that girl on the date. She's been talking about it nonstop since we got home though.

The three of us go downstairs and my mom and Ben are sitting on the couch.

"We have a doctors appointment Friday. It's an important one. We are going to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl" My moms says.

"Friday?" Rowan asks.

"Yeah Friday" Ben says.

"I was supposed to go on a date Friday" She says.

"Well you have to cancel. You get to find out if you're having a little brother or sister" Ben says.

"Ok" Rowan says. She sounded a little disappointed.

The three of us started heading upstairs

"I think I'm having a little brother" Auggie says.

"I want a little brother too" I say.

"Hey Rowboat" I say when we get into my room.

"What's up" She says.

"Wanna have a gender reveal party?" I ask.

"That's actually sounds really fun" She says.

"I'll talk to my mom later and see what we can do" I say.

I'm kind of glad Rowan isn't going on the date but I know she's going to reschedule. And I'm gonna have to get all the details.
