Sunday - Wednesday

Harry P.O.V.

Things were Changing.

It seemed that Ginny had found a sudden interest in Dean again. Hopefully it would work out this time.

With Ginny out of the way, Draco seemed to calm down a little more. Though I still didn't love him, and I really don't think I will. I'm just not really the gay type. No offense to Draco.

Even if I was, it wouldn't feel right, because I would just be doing it for his sake. It wouldn't be the same.

Friends.

That's all.

Hopefully that'll be good enough for him. Just being friends. Maybe his feelings will go away. I'm not sure. I'll talk to him today.

When I got to the Hospital wing, he was sitting up, playing around with some spells. It looked like he was replaying some images from his head. I didn't know that was really possible. I always thought you needed a Pensive for that. But looks like he knew how to without one.

I watched from afar as he replayed the same images over and over. A little blonde boy who looked to be about 5, with milky white skin and silver eyes, playing around with an even smaller dog, it looked like a puppy, in a vast green yard.

Then, the boy aged a few years, along with the dog. The boy was, once again, playing with the dog. The dog was bigger. A lot bigger. It looked to be a husky. They were playing fetch. The boy was smiling and laughing. He looked to be about nine.

Then, the boy was standing on Platform 9¾, the dog at his side. He was hugging his parents. A woman with blonde and brown hair, and a man with long blonde hair. The dog jumped up on the boy and started kissing him. The boy laughed. He was 11 in this.

Then, he looked to be about 13, his hair not gelled like it usually was. He was at his house for Christmas holidays. The dog was in an elf suit. The dog was getting old. I could tell. The boy smiled at the dog, gave it a treat, and sat on a long leather couch, the dog at his feet.

Then, it looked as though this had happened just last year. The boy was crying, holding onto the dog, who looked to old for it's own good. The dog had a tumor in it's right leg, at the rear. I could tell the boy was begging his mother to help the dog.

His mother smiled sadly at the boy, tears in her eyes, as his father patted his back, comforting him. (Help I'm crying and I'm the one writing this)

The boy hugged the dog tightly, as the dog gave the boy one final kiss on the cheek, then passed onto the next world, going limp in the boys arms. The boy stayed there for a while, until his father finally tore him away, and brought him home.

The final scene was atop a hill. There was a gravestone, it looked to be handmade, that said:

Allison
1984 - 1995
Loving
Missed by all
Especially Draco

Then the image faded away, and Draco dropped his wand in his lap. He was crying. (Just like I am ajdbwjjwsjhsvs)

I made my way over to him and sat on the edge of his bed, putting my arm around his shoulders and hugging him close. He leaned into me and cried.

We stayed like that for a while, until he finally sat up straight. He wiped his eyes and looked at me. "How much did you see?" He asked. "Enough to know you miss her." I said. He nodded.

"I got her when I was 4. She was almost 11 when she died. I tried to get my mom to help her, but mom said it was for the best. That she was going to a better place. She used the last of her strength to give me one last kiss, then, she was gone. Just like that. She died just last year. I miss her more than anything."

I hugged him again. Once he pulled away from the hug, I spoke up. "I never got to have any animals as a child. The most i ever dealt with was my Aunt Marge's dogs, and they didn't really like me. I inflated her like a balloon when I was 13, and her dog was livid with me."

He laughed, wiping his eyes again. It was good to see him laughing, and not coughing up flowers. I hated how I was responsible for this. I hated it so much.

Me and Draco continued to talk. Talked about stuff like favorite foods, how long we've been friends with some people, his parents being accepting. (which honestly suprised me because I didn't think Lucius would be all too happy)

We continued like this for a few days.

Things were definitely changing.

On Wednesday I waned into the hospital wing after class and found Draco was waiting for me, and as soon as I walked in, he smiled and waved me over. I walked over and sat on the stool.

"Why are you so happy?" I asked. "Guess." "Uhh, idk, Snape made a potion that could extend your time to live or something?" He laughed. "Actually, yes he did." He pulled a bottle from his robe pocket, and showed it t me. It was full of swirling blue liquid.

"He said once I drink it, it'll give me 3 extra months. He said he'll make more, but I can't have anymore than this until my 3 months is almost up." He swished the liquid around.

"That's great!" I said. "Well then, bottoms up! You're gonna need this!" He opened the bottle and drowned it in one gulp. He scrunched up his nose. "Ew. Tastes like rotten eggs." I laughed. "Well what'd you expect it to tase like? Flowers?" "Well I've had my fair share of tasting flowers." "Yea, I guess you're right." We both laughed.

At least now he had more time.

That made me feel better.
