It was Thursday night and almost 6 pm.

Kevin finished his work and he was heading to Joe's Pizza where he was supposed to meet up with Sarah. Jonathan came into his office room.

"Hey. Are we going? I'm starving."

Jonathan asked Kevin feeling very hungry and Kevin laughed.

"Let me put these documents away really quick. Give me few mins."

Said Kevin and Jonathan was being bit grumpy and sat in front of Kevin's desk.

"Ugh. Come on. Bro. Don't let me die here starving to death. hahahaha"

Kevin took out his phone and sent a text message to Sarah.

(Text message)

Kevin-"Hi. Sarah. I'm almost done with work. I will be there soon. Oh. By the way, one of my friend will join us if that's OK with you."

Lisa-"That's fine. I'm actually coming with a friend too. LOL"

Kevin-"That's perfect. I'll see you soon."

Lisa-"OK."

Kevin put his phone inside his pocket and thanked Jonathan for coming with him.

"Hey. Thank you for coming with me. I didn't want it to be just me and her. Oh. By the way, she's coming with a friend too."

Said Kevin and Jonathan smiled a bit.

"I hope she's cute. By the way, how are you doing with Juliana?"

Jonathan asked feeling curious.

"Great. We went out to bunch of places couple of weeks ago. We also went out to a dessert place few nights ago. We had great time."

Said Kevin and Jonathan nodded a little bit.

"I see."

Kevin knew Jonathan didn't approve Juliana because he didn't think of her as a right girl for Kevin and Jonathan knew what Juliana did to Kevin in the past. Breaking his heart by leaving him for her ex boyfriend and breaking his heart again by cheating on him.

Jonathan did not get along with Juliana and Juliana always told Kevin to stop hanging out with Jonathan telling him that he was bad influence.

"Hey. Jonathan."

"Yeah?"

"I know you don't like Juliana and I know that you are still mad at her for what she did to me in the past. But I forgave her and moved on. She's been really good to me and trying so hard. I really appreciate that from her. I want you to let it go and I'm not holding grudge against her. I don't want you to have hatred against a woman that I love."

Kevin asked Jonathan to let the hatred go and didn't want him to have the hatred against the woman that he loved. Jonathan was looking directly at Kevin speechless before she started to tell him something.

"Well. Kevin. If you still love Juliana so much after what she did to you in the past, I'm not stopping you. But I want to tell you one thing as a friend. Real talk. If she ever hurts you again, leave. Leave and move on for the better. Tell yourself that you deserve better."

Said Jonathan directly with full of honesty and Kevin smiled appreciating Jonathan for looking after him.

"Thanks for looking after me. But don't worry. That won't happen. Let's go get some pizza. I'm hungry."

Kevin and Jonathan arrived at Joe's Pizza and Sarah and her friend was already there waiting for them.

"Hi. Lisa."

"Hi. Kevin. Good to see you. This is my friend Jennie."

"Hello. I'm Jennie."

"Hello. Jennie. I'm Kevin."

"Hi. Jennie. Lisa. I'm Jonathan. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you."

Kevin, Jonathan, Lisa, and Jennie all greeted each other and started to have some pizza.

"I like your dress. Jennie. It looks really good on you."

"Oh. Thank you. Jonathan."

Kevin looked at Jonathan when he gave a compliment to Jennie about her dress when he just met her thinking that here he go again.

"Kevin. Thank you so much for that night. Lisa was having really rough night. She texted me that she was lost somewhere and I didn't get any respond from her for hours until she texted me that her phone battery died. I was so worried but I was so glad you brought her back home. She told me a lot about you that how kind you were."

Jennifer thanked Kevin for taking care of Sarah that night. Kevin and Lisa both smiled and Jonathan padded on Kevin's shoulder feeling proud of him.

"My friend Kevin is a good man. He is a very awesome person with a good heart. I'm very thankful to have an awesome friend like him."

Kevin smiled then started to talk to Sarah.

"Hey. Lisa. How are you feeling? Everything OK since that night?"

"Not really but I'll be OK. I think I just need some time."

"Everything will be fine. Time will cure everything."

"Thank you."

Jennie was comforting Lisa.

"Get over him. Girl. He is not worth it. I cannot believe he told you that he is in love with another girl when he broke up with you. Who does that?"

"Wow. He must have been real asshole."

"I know. Right?"

Jonathan jumped into conversation and Jennie was getting into the whole thing and they started to have conversation. The server brought the pizza and they all started to enjoy. Kevin passed the Pizza to Lisa like a gentleman.

"Lisa. Eat up. And Cheer up."

"Thank you so much. Kevin."

Kevin cheered up Lisa who was suffering in pain due to the break up not long ago and he knew how she felt more than anybody because he have been through it before. Kevin's kindness made Lisa smile making her feeling bit better from the pain she was suffering.
