Colors of Life
It's taken me forever
to figure this out
that life isn't always just
black
or white
It's full of shades of grey
and every color in the spectrum
Yet it's still never really
a beautiful rainbowUniverse of Red
Messy washes of paint
Over thick watercolor paper
Night skies glowing soft
Oh such a pretty blood moon
Cranberries with dinner
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving
Ramiscos plump and juicy
On the vine ready to be squished
Mars in the distance
Ever angry with its dust
