Luke has been an absolute gentleman. It still amazes me how he would willingly date a broken, insecure, traumatized, pregnant girl. (Wow. I just realized how troubled I am.)

Anyways, he has taken me out everywhere. We've gone to restaurants, parks, malls, and museums. He has just been great. We've learned more about each other as well.

I found out that Luke has an older sister named Laurel. His mom died two years ago from an aortic aneurism. So he just has God, his dad, and his sister.

Right now, Nana is helping me get dressed for a date with my Lukey. Today is Luke's last night. He is flying back to NY tomorrow morning. He has a few more days until graduation. He gets to graduate early. So I am gonna surprise him and fly out there soon....

Nana is obsessed with new music. She is known as the recycled teen because she looks and acts young. Nana is 78 and looks about 40. Anyways, she is helping me fit my big behind in this tiny dress. lol. I just gained a lot of weight.

We decided to go to Pei Wei. It's a nice Asian restaurant. They also have a live jazz band. I'm meeting Luke at the restaurant.

Just as I arrived, I saw Luke head over. He opened the door for me. Lord, he is such a gentlemen! Anyways we got seated and ordered.

"Hi! What can I get for you?" said our waitress only to me. "I would like the Orange chicken and chow mein please." I said. This waitress keeps staring at me with a grin. "And for you sir" she asked. "I will have the same" Luke replied. She kept grinning and went to fill our order.

She came back and gave us our meal about thirty minutes later. This lady is still grinning. Creepy........

She winked at Luke and he nodded his head. " I've gotta use the restroom. I'll be back in a minute." Luke said. I just smiled and said ok. It didn't bother me with the waitress winking. I have learned to trust. I trust Luke to be a gentleman.

About 30 seconds later, the lights died down and I saw Luke on the stage. " This is dedicated to my girlfriend Shana. I love you so much babe."
He turned around to the band and nodded. They began to play an acoustic version of Adorn/ Diamonds. I did not know Luke could sing!

I was crying tears of joy. When the song ended, everyone clapped. "Shana can you come up here?" He asked. Everyone cheered.
I waddled on the stage and joined him up there.

"Shana.....where do I begin. I love you so much. The day I met you was crazy. I was a guy that was a tyrant and just did whatever. But, I've changed. And I love hanging out with you. I am glad we get to talk and work things out. The moment I met you, I knew you weren't like everyone else. And I know that we've both been through a lot, but I wanna be there for you. I wanna be the first person you see when you wake up. I want to be there when you laugh and cry. And more importantly, I wanna be there for the bundle of joy in your womb. I guess what I'm trying to say is, Shana, will you be my wife?" He said.

I looked at him and shook my head yes.

The crowd cheered and people congratulated us. My mom, Aunt, Nana, Sori, Ford, the babies,Shea, Johnna, and Luke's family saw us.

It turns out that while I've been down here, Luke has been planning this entire thing.

And that's how his last day here went.
