Coronavirus and God

Hi everyone!

Some people might think that the coronavirus is a sign that Jesus is coming soon. Some might think of it as a punishment to the sinners. Some might think it's a 'rest to the land,' like when the Israelites went into captivity for 70 years, and, as the Bible says, God had done it to give the land a rest. Every seventh year, the Israelites weren't supposed to work on the lands and raise crops. The land was supposed to have a rest. The problem is that they didn't follow that rule given by God. So God sent them away to give the land a rest.

All these thoughts could actually be very accurate! But have you ever thought of this time as a 'catch up' with an old friend- Jesus? For years, people have been abandoning God and Christians were slowly withering away from him. It's like you traveled away for years and haven't given a second thought to an old friend.

God loves us so much, and He wants to interact with us, whether adults or kids, teens, or the elderly. Jesus is your friend. He will forgive you if you admit you're wrong. He always was, always is, and always will be there for you.

Coronavirus is the time to do that. You have lots of time, even if you have too much work, you should still have time for Him. If you actually really don't, wake up early, then! He deserves it! You will also need it. If you think this isn't about God, then think about how you need it. You need God, He isn't a person you can just leave like that.

So instead of getting bored doing nothing, use the time wisely. Get to know God more, catch up with Him on the things you've missed about Him over the past years. He deserves it. You need it.

What do you think? You need time alone with God. He's your friend, and like you always hang out with old friends and best friends, you catch up with God in your own way.

I hope you guys take this into consideration. Love you all, God bless, wish you the best of all!
