Hi guys! It's Cheyanne! This is my first post, so I'm excited 😄

So first off, I want to tell everyone here, no matter what you've gone through, how much pain you've caused yourself or others, and no matter how many mistakes you've made, you have a God who loves you beyond words. He gave his only son so that we could have eternal life, so that we could be forgiven of our sins, no matter how bad the sins are. Don't beat yourself up when you make mistakes. God loves us, but we will have troubles in this world.

We are going to go through pain, we all go through struggles, and we all go through loss. God is here with us through it all. This video, spoken by the amazing Rachel Leininger, shows us what it feels like to be at the foot of the cross. Our sufferings are meant to bring us closer to God, and we need to understand that we CAN hand our pain over to God.

There's a poem called Footprints in the Sand. The poem specified that our God will never leave us, and He will always be there to help us through it all.

One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."

I will be praying for each and every one of you this week. I encourage you to hand all of your pain and suffering over. Lay down your burdens. Don't worry about the future or the past. God loves you and will help you through it all.

Dear Lord, look over all of your children. Let them know that you carry they're burdens with them, and that in our most desperate times of despair and need, they can turn to you. Help us to be strong in our hardest times and be the hand that is outstretched to people in need. Be our light in our darkness, our friend when we're friendless, and our hope when we feel hopeless. In your name we pray,
Amen.
