I was standing in front of your mirror putting the setting mist on the make-up that's covering my hickey. I smiled and rolled my eyes as I realized its going to take forever to wash this off later. The poor girls face at the counter. The memory made me giggle. I readjusted my tie and made my way out of the bathroom.
"God you look good in a tux." Mark giggled
"No touchy. it took me an hour to cover your damn hickey." I laughed
"Fine. I'll just have to wait until you get home." He pouted
"Don't forget that you need to eat. Don't just record till I get home." I told him
"What, gonna punish me if I don't eat?" Mark asked laughing
"You never know." I said kissing him as I left
I drove for about 20 minutes before I reached the restaurant.
"Well hello Samantha." I smiled as I got out of my car
"I don't think I have ever seen you this dressed up." She smiled
"This is my wedding tux." I laughed
"Aw, that's sweet. You look different." She said eyeing me
"Nothing's changed." I laughed
"You've been working out." She stated
"Yeah, a little. Mark wanted a buddy." I laughed
"You look good like that." She smiled
"We should head inside." I laughed
We made our way inside and sat in the space that was booked off. Mason, Mrs.Margret, and a few of the higher ups were already there.
"Sean!" Mason said standing from his seat
"Hey, how've you been?" I asked as he hugged me
"Ha, we should talk later." He said smiling lightly
"Sure. But Mark wants me home for 7. Says he has a surprise." I told him
"He has you trained well." Sam laughed
"No. He ugh. Yeah I got no defense." I laughed
We waited a few more minutes for everybody to arrive. Then we ordered food and started the meeting.
"So, I asked Mrs.Margret to gather you here so we could honor all of you. The six of you have been noticed by us at the office for your outstanding work and relationships with your students." Mr.Dares smiled "And you all seem to get along well with each other as well."
"You've all made a dent in the school and should be viewed as role models for other teachers." Mrs.Margret smiled
We ate and finished the meeting. It was around 6:30 when we finished. Mason and I stayed in the parking lot. We sat on the back of my car as I smoked a cigarette.
"I thought you quit?" He asked
"I did." I laughed "What's up?"
"You ever wonder why we're here? What our purpose is?" He asked staring at the clouds
"Sure, hasn't everyone at one point?"
"Sean I think I found why I'm here." He stated
"Oh?" I questioned
"Over the summer, this guy came into the club. My co-workers said that he came in every night, and if I wasn't there he'd leave." I explained
"Okay."
"Well, we ran into each other in the store last month. We went on a date." He told me
"Aw. I'm happy to hear that. What happened next?" I asked
"He's in my car." Mason laughed as we made our way over
A man, built like Mark stepped out of the car. He had blond hair, dark blue eyes, glasses with dark frames, his ears were stretched, his arms tattoo covered, he was hot, I gotta admit.
"Is this the guy you talk about?" He asked, his voice deep,
"Yeah, Aaron, this is Sean." Mason introduced us
"It's a pleasure to meet you, again." Aaron smiled
"I've seen you before." I said blankly, trying to remember where
"Yeah. You taught my ex's son." He laughed
"In Canada?" I questioned
"Yeah. We broke up a few years ago. Moved here for work." He smiled
"Timothy?" I asked trying to remember
"Yeah. How on earth do you remember that?" He asked surprised
"I've only toughed, about 100 students in my career." I laughed
"Oh yeah. Mason told me you were teaching in a trial program." He laughed
"Yeah. The kids are great." I smiled lighting another cigarette
I took a few steps back from Aaron out of respect. I wasn't sure if he smoked and I didn't want to blow it at him or anything accidentally.
"That sounds amazing. Mason says you're also married to Markiplier?" He asked
"Yeah. Mark is such an amazing man." I smiled
"That explains why you're in some of his older blogs. He hasn't done many of those laity."
"I was in a charity stream last year." I said taking a drag off my smoke
"Yeah. You and Jace are't often in videos. It would be nice to see more of you two." He sighed
"Jace and camera shy and YouTube is Marks thing, teaching is mine. I usually try to avoid interrupting him when he's working." I explained
"Should try to convince Jace to sing on camera more often. He sounds amazing." Mason smiled
"I'll tell him that. Sorry to run so soon but I gotta get home. We should hang out again sometime though." I smiled as I put my smoke out on the ground
"Sounds like fun Sean. Stay safe." Mason smiled as I left
As I pulled into our driveway I noticed all the lights were off in the house. Mark could just be recording, but Jace usually turned them on. I got out of the car and walked through the front door.
"Mark?" I called
Suddenly the lights flicked on and someone wrapped their arms around me.
"Mark Edward, that better be you." I laughed
"Surprise." He said smiling
"What's this for?" I asked
"For being the amazing man you are." He said hugging me
The room wasn't overly decorated but there was a small cake sitting on the coffee table. It was a cute attempt at making a party.
"Okay Mark, what the hell is going on?" I laughed as he pulled me to the couch
"Well, we never really stopped to celebrate your birthday in February. Between everything going on and work, we never made time." Mark sighed
"Aw. Thanks babe." I smiled
"You deserve to stop and celebrate, even if it's a few months late." He laughed
"Thank you Mark." I said kissing him softly
