First day at Uni, I've already been given a shit ton of homework, and I got invited to a party. Not really what I expected to be honest. I wasn't even expecting the majority of my roommates to be able to tolerate me, and now Lucy doesn't stop talking to me. I guess I can classify her as a friend. Levy was quite sweet too, she's on my list for approachable people. Ever since middle school I had a "list" of approachable people, and unapproachable people. Gray is 100% on the unapproachable at the moment, he just gives me a bad vibe. But the thing is I've been wrong about that list before, more on the approachable side. I'll have to be more careful this time.
I was now back at the dorm, Lucy insisted on painting my nails before I did any of my work, she likes to experiment looks on people. Natsu came back with us, and helped himself to a beer in the fridge. You're not even allowed alcohol in the dorms but I guess that rule doesn't apply to the guys in my dorm. Lucy decided to use a navy blue colour on me, which is actually my favourite colour, she'd then experiment with patterns once she'd done the first layer.
"Oh wow Juv, never noticed your earrings." Natsu pointed out as he came and sat down with us.
I had a lot of piercings, industrial, double piercing on my earlobe, helix, then I also had my nose pierced but I didn't have the jewel on, (my parents don't know about it).
"Oh yeah, they're pretty." Lucy compliments.
Agh! Stop it with the compliments!
Just before I can say anything, Gajeel joins the party. He's got a lot of piercings too, on his face, so we have something in common. He heads straight for the fridge, until Natsu grabs his attention.
"Hey Iron Face! Check out Juvia's piercings."
Iron face? I guess that would make sense, it's also kind of funny. He grabs a diet coke, seems like he doesn't have an addiction to alcohol like the other two, then comes over to inspect me.
"They're cool, didn't expect you to be the pierced type."
It's only earrings, why are they making such a big deal out of it.
"What else ya hiding? Any tattoos too?"
Lucy had zoned out of the conversation by then, she was more intrigued in my nails, while the boys were intrigued by my "rebel life".
I stay mute for a few seconds, then that grabbed Lucy's attention. She looks up at me in slight shock, and stops the brush on my nails. I fold my lips in, slightly embarrassed.
"Holy shit you do!" Natsu seems a bit too excited.
"You don't have to keep answering them, Juvia, they like to study girls who have more of a rebellious style." Lucy states.
Gajeel drags over the beanbag, and makes himself comfortable while waiting for a "show and tell". After that, I decide if these guys are my roommates there'd be no point in hiding anything from then. "I have two," I pull down my jacket sleeve, revealing a Japanese tattoo on the inside of my wrist, "this one means chaos," Lucy allows me to turn my back slightly, and pull down my jacket along with my shirt, revealing the back of my shoulder, it was a butterfly, and the left wing had flowers instead of the original pattern. I let them gape at it for a moment, then pull my clothes back over my shoulder and allow Lucy to continue her painting.
"That's pretty fucking cool." Natsu admires.
"Bet you're hiding one on your ass too." A familiar voice taunts me.
I turn my head, Gray is leaning against the wall with a villainous smirk glued to his face. Keep it together, Juvia. Don't go nuts after this twat, he's not worth it. Wait, I'm standing up. The arms are crossing, here it comes...
