Gray's POV:
My Dad showing up out of nowhere wasn't pleasant, neither was my hangover. It wasn't the worst one I've had, and I may have exaggerated a bit when I told Juvia I don't remember anything. Truth is, I could recall many things over the night, I just chose not to tell her to save her from her own embarrassment. Does that make me a gentlemen or a complete asshole?
My Dad wanted to do some city culture things but I objected as I wasn't really in the mood, he decided to go and do it by himself which I'm certain he'll get lost, again.
After a quick power nap, as I opened my bedroom door I witnessed her blue locks swishing as she went out the front door, must have work or something. I headed into the kitchen to be greeted by a blonde, sat at the counter with her black laptop in front of her with her emails up and it mentioned something about her major.
"Hey, you changing majors?" I asked.
"Yeah, to fashion journalism."
Never heard of that before, "Not enjoying english?"
"No..." She shakes her head, falling back into her seat as she sighs. "The only thing that made it fun was when me, Juvia and Levy would mess around."
I pull myself on top of the counter and take one of the pieces of toast she has placed next to her laptop, she eyes me with resentment as I take a bit out of it, she's not so keen on sharing, same with Natsu.
"Well," I pause as I swallow, "Juvia's not gonna be happy then, she told me how she always looks forward to her classes mainly 'cause you're in them."
Her eyebrow raises, "Really? When she'd tell you that?"
I had a horrible feeling that what I said next was about to bite me in the ass, "Last night on the hotel roof."
As I was speaking to Lucy, I had completely forgotten the fact I told Juvia I had no memory of last night, which must've passed on to her by the harshly cold glare I was receiving. Now her arms had folded and she'd dragged the plate of toast further away from me.
"I thought you told her you don't remember anything?" Her tone enough was threatening.
Out of guilt, I gave the silent treatment. I was such a child. I think all of my roommates were picking up on that now, at least I'm not as much of a child as Natsu.
"Gray, what happened?"
Another symptom of being a child, cup your hands together and begin fiddling with your fingers while staring at them with intent.
"Gray!"
"She showed me her tits!"
I'm dead. So very dead. Good thing I found an apartment, I won't have to ever face Juvia again. Sort of... we still have one class together but like we're ever going to talk to each other again.
"Is... um- that it? Or other things too?" At least she wasn't continuing to ridicule me.
"Em, no," My lips fold as I slip off the counter. I head over to the fridge to try and pacify myself with someone a little more sweet than toast.
_ _ _
I hadn't seen Juvia since we got into the hotel. She got distracted with Lucy and Cana and ended up crashing the hotel bar to get even more wasted. I hadn't touched a drop since the previous bar Juvia and I went to, all I had was a couple of beers and two shots of tequila... both of us doing it the traditional way on each other. By the heavy gaze in her eyes after that, her lips almost puckering I could tell how desperate she was to kiss me. I didn't let it happen, though.
