AARON'S P.O.V
I was scared. I thought Tris was gone....I mean, I thought I had beat her to death, but I guess she must've been taken in and healed. "Well, I guess we should keep moving!" I exclaimed, trying to brush off all that had happened. "Yeah, let's go." Tris was already far off, somewhere else. I didn't miss her...I wanted to get rid of her. We walked on, and stopped to eat every now and then. Carl had found some berries, and apples. We took small bites cause we wanted to save more for the trip. He was still carrying Paige, his arms wrapped around her tightly as she huddled up against him. That isn't supposed to be Carl, that's supposed to be me.

CARL'S P.O.V
I kept noticing Aaron shift his eyes towards Paige. Something was suspicious about him. I don't know what, though. He seemed perfectly normal. All I did was keep walking.

As we followed a long path of leaves, I noticed Paige was peacefully sleeping in my arms. Looking down at her was beautiful cause she was beautiful. I shifted my eyes beside her to see droplets of blood on leaves, making a trail. They weren't behind us, so it couldn't have been Paige, Aaron, or me. Someone else made this. "You guys, look!" I pointed to the path. "Blood?" Aaron bent down beside it. "It's fresh..." He said as he examined it. We all searched till we found the producer of this substance.

"Tris! Are you okay?" She was laying beside a tree stump, bleeding. Her arm had a large gash down it like somebody had stabbed her. "What happened?" I ran up beside her and looked at it. "A man was injured, bit maybe. I went to help him, but some lady...dreadlocks and all...took her machete and cut me. I guess she thought I was going to kill them..." She was taking heavy breaths. "W-what did the man look like?" She looked up at me,"Blue eyes, scruffy face, dirty blond-ish brown hair. Pretty fair size." I stood there in shock. "No, no...Aaron, hold her for a second." I laid her in his arms as I squatted down beside her, my head in my hands. "How long ago was that?" I asked. "About an hour." She replied.

"Was there anyone else in the group?" I asked. She nodded her head,"A blond haired girl, about 18 maybe, and a brown haired girl, 25 at least. Another man, brown hair, sorta shaggy. He had a crossbow." I sat there. What about Glenn?!?! "Was there anybody else?" "No...that's it..." I fell to the ground, laying on the hard dirt. "Where's Glenn?..." I mumbled.
