CARL'S P.O.V
It was morning, finally. Paige was laying beside me on the couch. I had my arms wrapped around her, holding her close. As I moved to get up, it woke her up, too. "Hi..." She whispered, weakly. "Hi." I smiled at her, kissing her forehead. Rose and Grace were sleeping on beds on the floor. Daryl was in his room. I think Beth, Maggie, and Glenn were still in the same room.
Rose and Grace started to wake up as the sunlight peeked between the trees and through the window. Daryl walked out of the room,"Hello everybody!" He exclaimed. H
Everyone moaned and groaned,"Hello..." He took Rose by the wrist, getting her on her feet. "You and I will be going on a run, now!" She nodded. "Okay..." They both got ready and headed out.
Paige rubbed my hand and said,"I'm gonna go take a shower..." She kissed my cheek and walked into the bathroom. It was just Grace and I. "So, Sheriff. How are you and pretty girl over there doing?" She asked rubbing her eyes. "Good I guess..." I replied awkwardly. "Great." She added slipping her cap on.
She came up beside me, plopping herself beside me. "Did you have a dream? I did!" She said. "What was it?" I asked. She smirked. "Us..."
I looked at her confused. "Wha-?" I asked, then she started rubbing the back of my neck, running the strands of my hair between her fingers. She was being too flirty with me and I was feeling uncomfortable.
"Stop..." I said, pushing her farther down the couch. I turned my head away from her. I felt the couch lower, the weight build up beside me. I felt her breath on my neck, she was really close to me. She put her arm in front of me. "What are you doing? Stop!" I exclaimed, angrily. She leaned in towards my lips, getting really close for a kiss. "Come on, Carl..." I shoved her to the floor, pulling out my gun and pointing at her head. "I said Stop."
I clenched my jaw and held the gun, tightly. She put her hands up with a chuckle. "Okay...okay, sheriff...but remember, your guns won't help you with every situation you get in."
