♡ IV ♡

Tony's pov.

When i opened my eyes my lab was thankfully still dark. I then took out my phone to check the time, yet almost blinding myself in the process. 12:16 am, the time read. Yikes i slept all day, i was only suppose to take a nap. I then let out a lengthy sigh before struggling to sit up. "I don't understand. You three are so small yet i still struggle to do the simple things." I mumbled to the babies and myself. I then slip on my slippers and got up from the chair feeling a sharp pain in my back. That's new, i probably slept wrong or something.

I slowly shuffled to the bathroom where i had to pee. I quickly did so before walking out and see an outline of something standing by my door. I contemplated whether i should call one of my suits but, am simply to tired to do so. "Jarvis, lights on please." The A.I didn't respond but instead he quickly did what i said. Once again i blinded myself but when my eyes adjusted the dark outline was now Natasha. She had a small smile on her face and gave me a small wave. I gave her a confused wave but a wave non the less. She then pointed to the door and mouthed 'let me in'. At first i didn't move but quickly I shuffled to do so. As soon as i opened the door, Nat gave me a bear hug.

"Oh, Tony I'm so sorry." I slowly pat her back as she clung to me for dear life. "Sorry for what?" I asked mostly confused. She then let go of me and sighed. "For all the things Steve said to you." She mumbled under her breath but loud enough for me to hear. Despite it happening a while ago that brought some of my emotions back. "H-How do you know that?" I whispered as i walked back to the lazy boy chair.

"Well Steve and Thor was sparing to get out his anger and frustration. And he really messed up the God's face. So i asked him what was happening and at first he told me that it was not his secret to tell and stuff like that. But then we asked Jarvis where you were and he was giving us basic answers. That is when i realized that something is wrong." As i laid back down on the chair Nat got a single chair from one out the tables so she can sit next to me.

I simply wrapped blanket around me hoping that a hole would open up from the ground and swallow me whole. I wouldn't be surprised if it actually did, sometimes shit is just unpredictable. Natasha then cleared her throat. "So i asked Steve what did he do and he was freaking out and saying stuff like 'This is my fault' or ' I just should have accepted it' and ' I shouldn't have said all those horrible things'. Then he just got up and ran to y'all room." She said with a sigh.

I only sighed rubbing my eye a bit knowing that it might be red. "But very long story short. I started investigating and found the recording of the whole convo between you and Steve. I then decided that the team should be there to watch it when i do. After the team watched it they wanted to kill your husband including me."

A small chuckle left my lips. "Even Bucky?" I asked softly, Nat simply nodded. "Yup, even Bucky. We all said what we had to say to Steve that also included Bucky who did it in his own way that absolutely broke Steve since he started to cry." I then sighed, shifting a bit under my blanket. "Then we sent him to his room and all came to the understanding of not telling Steve that you are in here. And if you were thinking about going somewhere by yourself your not going." I then let out a groan and Natasha simply chuckled.

"I figured you had a plan, but i tell you what. If you go disappear to wherever, i need to know where you are." I then let out a sigh contemplating what she just said. "Tony its only me, unless your in danger nobody else will know where you are." She said extremely concerned, I then nodded knowing that somebody would've had to known anyway. "I will come and visit every day, and depending on how you feel i might stay some nights." I then thought about the supposed check up i was suppose to have with Bruce. "That would be fine but, i have a check up with Bruce and his friend soon." She then nodded.
