"How is she?" I asked Doctor Landon as I zipped up my dress, looking at my reflection in the mirror, being happy with my appearance.

I was wearing a dark green dress which was a gift from Tammy as she told me I would look hot as hell in it and that I should wear it when I had a date.

I wasn't sure what this meeting with Spencer was, but I was certain that I didn't have anything else to wear so I just threw it on.

"Good, but she misses you a lot. You're the only thing she talks about and every morning she goes to the reception to receive your daily letter personally."

I sighed, feeling my heart sank at the imagine in my head of my sister missing me. "And her seizures?"

"They actually got better. She hadn't had a seizure in 4 days, since you left us."

I smiled to myself as I slipped on my cream heels, relieved that I packed them, as they were not too high and very comfortable. "That's great news. Please, keep me updated."

"Of course, Dr. Weaver. Oh, and Diana greets you. She said, that she really enjoyed it, whatever it means."

My smile grew wider as I clipped in my earring, running a hand through my hair. "Well, tell her that she will get more soon. Thank you again, Doctor and have a great evening."

"You too, Dr. Weaver."

I hung up the phone, examining myself in the mirror one last time before grabbing my purse and waiting for the doorbell to ring.

It was 5.55, and to say I was excited was an understatement.
My heart was beating really fast and my hands were sweaty, but a huge smile was planted in my face as I thought about this evening with Spencer.
It would be a great night.

I was just about to pour myself a glass of water as the doorbell rang, making me jump a little.
I glanced at my watch.
5.58.

I smiled to myself, loving his punctuality before rushing to the door and opening it. My eyes widened a bit as I looked him up and down.

He was wearing blue striped button up with a creamy blue tie, on top of it a light brown blazer and brown blue mapping suit trousers.
He looked incredible.

As our eyes met, I realized that he checked me out too and my cheeks turned red as I cleared my throat, grabbing ahold of my purse.
"Hey, ehm... you look ehm re-really good. L-Like a fancy man"

He smiled slightly, blushing and brushing a piece of hair behind his ear, clearing his throat as well.
"You too."

I started laughing, bringing my hand in front of my mouth as he realized what he said, beginning to stutter.
"I-I meant, you look re-really g-good as well, not like a f-fancy man but a be-beautiful woman."

I bit my lip as I smiled, closed the door of my hotel room and linked my arm in his.
I was surprised by my own action, knowing that I wasn't normally as brave in the presence of him, but as I thought about what I was doing and noticing how his body stiffened, I quickly let go of him, bringing some distance in between our bodies.
"I-I'm sorry. For a moment I forgot about your germ thing."

He blinked a few times and our eyes met, before he smiled and hold out his arm for me to take. "I can make an exception for you."

I mimicked his smile, biting my lip and bowing playfully.
"Well I feel honored, Dr. Reid."

"The honor is all mine." He said as he bowed aswell, before we started laughing and making our way out to his car.

It was a rather old light blue Volvo with dark leather seats. The whole car was obsessively clean which made me wonder how his Apartment looked like.

He opened the door for me, before rounding the car and getting in himself. I've never seen him drive before, so I was curious as to how he would be driving.

As he started the engine and pulled out from the parking lot, I noticed that he was tensed, gripping the steering wheel very tight.
"Are you sure that I shouldn't drive?"

His head shot to the side as our eyes met for a moment, before they got back on the road. "Yeah, it's no problem. I'm just a bit afraid."

I smiled, brushing my curled hair behind my ear. "Dr. Spencer Reid can catch serial killers but has a problem with cars? How come?"

"Well when I was 18, I had been at the library and I drove back home."
He started his narration as he concentrated on the road in front of us, driving really careful. "It was dark and I was really tired. I closed my eyes for just three seconds and then I crashed into something. I-It was a dog."

He took a deep breath as I smiled reassuringly at him, even though he couldn't see it.
"I tried to rescue him, drove him to the animal clinic but he died. Ever since then I disliked driving."
His eyes met mine, returning the smile and giving the road the attention it needed.

"Something like that happened to me too. The problem was that I wasn't driving but my best friend. We were at a party and I didn't realized that she drank. It wasn't much but it was enough to talk to me in the car and not paying much attention to the deer running on the road. It died right on the spot."

"Don't drink and drive huh?"

I smiled at the fact that he just cracked a joke before nodding, biting my lip.
"Amen."
