"Hey, how's your vacation?" Gabe held my hand the moment I opened the car's door, kinuha niya ang bag ko at sinabit sa kabila niyang kamay.
Ngumiti naman ako sa kanya and intertwined our fingers. I missed him!
"I told you about my cousins, right?" We spent Christmas and New Year with my mom's side of the family in our province, and it was sooo fun. Tumango siya. "I planned the whole itinerary for the whole week, but the storm happened, so we all stayed inside the house, playing games and stuff."
Ang hina ng signal dahil sa bagyo, pero naikwento ko na ata sa kanya ang buong family tree ko tuwing tatawag siya sa'kin. "What about you?"
"The usual stuff, but we didn't play games." Was he mocking us playing games?
Napataas ang kilay ko sa pang aasar niya, "'Wag kang judger! It was fun kaya."
"I'm not." Tumawa siya, "My family is a bunch of twisted assholes, I was judging mine, not yours."
Muntikan pa akong mabulunan sa sarili kong laway sa sinabi niya. We walked together papunta sa classroom, and I tried so hard na hindi ma conscious sa mga binibigay na tingin ng mga tao sa'min. I try to keep my life private at hindi maging laman ng chismis palagi, but I didn't want to let go of Gabe's hand just because of that.
"Woah woah woah." Bungad ni Juaquin pagpasok namin sa room, "Bakit may pag hawak ng kamay?"
Napahinto ako sa pagpalakad nang marinig ang boses ni Juaquin, because of his natural booming voice, naging center of attention nanaman kami. Nahiya ako bigla on seeing the curious gaze of our classmates, but Gabriel laughed it off, dragging me with him to sit with our friends. Sinamaan ko ng tingin si Juaquin, ang ingay naman kasi nito!
"Jay, samahan mo 'ko sa cr." Hindi pa ako maayos na nakaupo ay hinila agad ako patayo ni Hana kaya nabitawan ko ang kamay ni Gabe. I looked at them, seeing their smirks before we left the classroom.
Pagkasarado ng pintuan sa restroom ay agad niya akong hinarap na nakapamewang, "What happened with you and Gabe?"
I squinted my eyes at her accusingly, "You weren't going to pee, were you?"
She scoffed, "Duh, well? I need the tea, Jamie! Are you?" Itinaas niya ang dalawang hintuturo at ipinagdikit while making kissing noises.
"Ano yan? Baliw." Hinawi ko ang kamay niya, masyado namang advanced ang isang 'to.
"Hindi?" Nagtataka siyang tumingin sa'kin.
I smiled. "We're dating, I guess?"
"Anong klaseng sagot ang, I guess?! Magpapakasal ba kayo? I guess?" She practically screeched at me, like I don't make sense.
Hinampas ko ang noo niya, "Anong kasal, ang advanced ha. He's still courting me. We're taking things slow, and do we have to put labels on everything? Why can't we enjoy things just the way they are? I mean, we have all the time, why rush? Alam naman namin kung ano 'yung totoong pakiramdam namin sa isa't-isa. That's what's important."
"Okay, I respect that." Tumili siya, "Tangina! Ngayon pa na late si Francis. Number one supporter niyo 'yun eh."

"Welcome back, everyone! Three days ago, we sent a soft copy of the audition scenes to classroom representatives. I hope that's enough time to study the scenes." I leaned on my chair, hearing Robbie orient members and some students who wanted to audition.
Napatingin ako kay Gabriel na kakaupo lang sa tabi ko at may hawak na audition form.
"You're auditioning?" I asked, gulat nang tumango siya sa'kin.
