I stared at my little sister, who was sitting on the couch. She's pouting and playing with her fingers, "My friend invited me..."
Hindi niya na tinuloy ang sasabihin, and she doesn't need to, I already know the story because her guards reported everything. As usual, she wants to go out and have fun with her friends without her bodyguards. "When I told you to be yourself, I didn't tell you that it's okay to run from your guards."
"I know you want to be alone and all that, but our family constantly receives death threats. It's better to be safe than sorry, Jane." She might feel suffocated, but it's for her own good. And I have guards too! Hindi lang sila nagpapakita but I know they're there. On top of that? She's just twelve!
"You don't have to run from your guards. If you want a little space, I'll instruct them to give it to you. But, don't go anywhere without them." Tumango siya at hindi na sumagot. Napabuntong hininga ako at lumuhod sa harap niya. "Look, I won't tell Dad, but you have to promise, you'll never do that again. There's a fine line between wanting freedom and stupidity, Chyri Jane."
He'll confiscate my cards if nalaman niya."
I looked at her strictly. "Ako mismo ang kukuha ng cards mo kung hindi ka titino Jane."
She pouted, "Fine. I'll tell my friends that I'll cancel nalang."
Tumayo ako at ginulo ang buhok niya, "I told you to bring your guards, hindi ko ipinagbabawal ang paglabas mo."
She stared at me with her shocked puppy dog eyes at napailing ako. I just hope she realizes how much I trust her.
"Just be safe, Cici." I kissed her cheek at nauna nang lumabas ng bahay, carrying a duffel bag with all of my clothes and toiletries.
Tapos na ang exams, and our org is celebrating the end of the sem and the success of both the concert and the play by traveling to La Union.
Hinihintay ko si Gabriel. He texted that he'd fetch me here, so I contacted the guards at the gate and showed the picture of Gabriel para 'di magka problema sa pag pasok niya. Minutes later, I could feel my heart jump up when a white Lamborghini convertible appeared and smoothly drifted towards my spot.
I smiled nang makita siyang nakangisi habang nakahawak sa manibela. When he stopped, tumalon siya sa kanyang pintuan papunta sa passenger door, and opened it. "The carriage awaits, m'lady."
He bowed slightly, kaya natawa pa ako. "You're really pushing the Princess thingy."
I don't know what's different, but I suddenly felt conscious nang palapit ako sa kanya. Seeing him dress differently in casual clothes suddenly felt different. He's in a t-shirt and wide denim pants, with a pendant hanging on his neck, his hair ruffled as usual.
I fixed my hair and silently scolded myself for blushing because I liked his smell nang sumakay ako sa sasakyan, "This one's new. Ito ba ang ginagamit mo mag race?" Tukoy ko sa kotse.
"The R8 is faster." "Speaking of races, you still want to come with me on the track someday?"
Tumango ako, "Oo naman."
"Great." Ngisi niya and oh my, his dimples! Jumping back on the driver's seat, napa-sipol siya nang paandarin niya ang sasakyan and the engine roared. Like, the car literally roared. Lumingon siya sa'kin, "Hear that motor throb? Makes my dick hard everytime."
