"You know I was thinking, do you want to use Imahe for the next play? We don't have a script yet right?"
Napahiwalay ako sa akbay niya at hindi siya makapaniwalang tiningnan, "Seryoso ka ba?"
"Yeah. I mean, you didn't pick the story in the first place because it's too complicated and it would need a lot of time." He shrugged and smiled at me, "Now, we have more than five months to prepare."
I gaped. All I could hear was the echo of his words on my brain, I can't believe he's saying this! I can't believe he's giving manuscripts like it's free food.
Napatayo na ako sa excitement and I bit my lip, looking back at him. "Please tell me you're serious because my brain is forming plans right now."
"I am!" He laughed and grabbed my hand, pulling me to stand in between his legs, "What are you cooking in that brilliant brain?"
"Because we're graduating and I want to do something different for the last time." Huminga ako ng malalim, holding his forearms on my waist and he raised his eyebrows, eyeing me to continue. "What about mixing all the departments? We'll make a huuuge stage play? A musical."
"Whatever makes you happy Princess." He shrugged at napairap naman ako.
Hinampas ko ang braso niya, I don't want him to just agree on everything I say! "Don't say that! I need your honest opinion."
He chuckled, "It's a good idea. Siguro ang problema lang, how could we accommodate all performers in one script?"
I gave him a knowing look, "Can we?"
"You want to change the script?" He arched his brow.
"Yes. A few tweaks to fit the members and change scenes to songs. We'll make it work." I bit my lip, slightly bothered if he's upset.
Tumango siya, "You're the producer. You're the boss."
Umiling agad ako, "Gabe, it's your script, both legally and morally. I need to know if you're okay with that?" I squeezed his hand.
He smiled. "Jamie, we're changing it to accommodate more members. Of course, I wouldn't have a problem with it."
Napahinga ako ng malalim, "This is it? we're going to use Imahe?"
I screamed when he nodded, wrapping him in my arms. I have a lot of ideas coming straight into my brain that we have to start planning right now.
Gabriel held my waist and pushed slightly so he could see me, napangiti nalang ako nang makita nanaman ang malalim na dimples niya. I couldn't control myself anymore, pinindot ko yun gamit ng hintuturo and I laughed at how absurd my happiness is.
I laugh at the most random things today, you'd probably think I'm high.
My hair fell from my ears making a cocoon on both of our faces as he stared up at me— and I down at him. Nakangiti lang siya sa ginagawa ko and I adored how his eyes crinkle on the sides every time he does that.
Then I felt it, the urge to close in.
Our eyes conversing with each other for seconds before we both simultaneously leaned in and I pressed my mouth against his as he softly nipped at my bottom lip.
"Miss Jamie. Are you okay?" Napatayo ako ng tuwid, napatalon ng malayo kay Gabe at biglang nahiya nang makitang nagsidatingan ang mga guards ko.
Nalilito akong tumingin sa kanilang tatlo and I looked at Herana Almazan, she already has her gun unsheathed at binalik niya 'yun sa lalagyanan nang makitang wala namang nangyayari sa'kin. She glanced at Gabe before answering me, "We heard you scream."
