Chapter 5- Royalties Room

Princess's pov

It's exactly 8 in the morning. Masyado pala kaming nagtagal doon sa Main office namin. Madami-dami din kasi kaming napag-usapan. About our previous missions and accomplishments. Andami na din pala naming nagawa. We started our training to becoming agents since we were 10 years old, but Katherine, she started training when she was 8. I know. She was so young. None of our parents know this. And we're not planning to reveal who we really are. We would only bring harm if we do that.

Naglakad-lakad muna kami at nilibot ang school. Ang pangit kasi ng aura nina Stella at Julia. Nakakahiya naman sa mga ROYALTIES. I wonder what they are like. Royalties sila eh, ibig sabihin, role models. And as I can I see. Malaki din ang respesto sa kanila. Dean at teacher tawag dun sa king eh Mr. Anderson. I have high expectations for those four royalties. I hope they won't disappoint me.

Matagal-tagal din bago namin malibot ang buong school. Napagdesisyunan namin na maupo muna sa cafeteria. Ang laki ng school grabe! Pagod na pagod kami sa paglalakad. Mabuti na lang at lumamig na ang ulo ng dawala. Pero para na namang iinit ulit ang ulo namin dahil sa bulungan sa paligid. Kanina pa kami pinagtitinginan at pinag-uusapan. Pinag-uusapan nila na kami daw yung mga naka-motor kanina at mabilis ang pagpapatakbo. Tsk. Too much attention. I hate it.

"Tara na 8:15 na. 6th floor diba?" Ani ni Julia.

"Yep! Letz go! Bago uminit uli ang ulo ko." At tumayo na kami. Pansin ko lang na ang hilig mag bulungan ng mga tao dito sa school! Psh! Why don't they just focus on their bussiness rather than meddle with other people's problems.

"Tsk! Base sa mga mukha niyo kanina parang handa na kayong sumuntok ng kahit sinong kakausap sa inyo." I said. Mukhang handa na magkipagpatayan ang dalawa kanina dahil sa sama ng timpla ng mga mukha nila.

"Eh nakakabwisit eh! Tinawag tayong pangit! Ang hangin hangin pa nung dalawa na akala mo mga anghel! Pasalamat sila mabait ako." Pagrereklamo pa ni Stella at umirap. Ang arte talaga.

"Totoong gwapo naman eh." I said bluntly. Sabay naman silang napatigin sa akin. Agad kong itinikom ang bibig.

"At talagang nanggaling yan sayo Ms. Allergic sa mga lalaki! Kailan ka pa nagka-interes sa mga lalaki ha? Ikaw ha!!!" Julia exclaimed. Pinagtinginan lalo tuloy kami.

"Shut up Julia! I just said they're handsome. What's the big deal?" I said at kumunot ang noo. Kailan pa naging bawal ang pag-compliment sa mga kapwa tao? Nang marating namin ang elevator, agad kaming pumasok at pinindot ang 6th floor button. I eyed the two. They looked at me as if I said something unbelievable.

"You never compliment anyone! Kahit nga kami na kaibigan mo, ni minsan wala kaming natanggap! Tapos pupuriin mo yung dalawang punong-puno ng hangin ang katawan?! Nakakatampo ka!" Pagmamaktol ni Stella and crossed her arms. Napaka-childish talaga! Magsama sila ni Julia! Si Kath na pinakabata sa amin ay mas mature pa dito sa dalawa.

"Wala naman kasi akong mapuri sa inyo. Papangit niyo eh." I said and smirked at them.

"Napakasama mo Cess!" Mangiyak-ngiyak na ani ni Stella. I stuck my tongue out to them. Her tears ran down her tears. She's really good at acting.

Napatigil naman kami ng tumunog ang elevator. Napatingin kami sa isa't isa.

"This is it pancit. Kinakabahan ako. Hahahaha." Ani ni Julia. Lumabas kami at inilibot ang paningin. Agad naming nakita ang double door sa dulo ng hallway. It stands out too much with is gold outline and door name plate that says Royalties Room. Naglakad naman kami patungo doon.

With each step I take, my heart beat rate keeps increasing. Bakit ba ako kinakabahan masyado? Once we reached the door, I knocked on the door. Tahimik ang paligid. Konti lang ang rooms dito sa 6th floor. Wala rin katao-tao. We waited a couple of minutes until the door slowly opened. Para naman kami naging estatwa. Then, we saw the guy from yesterday. Zion Ash Anderson.

Not gonna deny, he's freaking handsome! Maslalo ko pang nakita ang kagwapuhan nito sa malapitan. An awkward silence was there when he suddenly broke it.

"Good morning. I'm Zion Ash Anderson. The KING of Zyxatious Academy. You may come in." He said coldly at nilakihan ang bukas ng pintuan para sa amin. A king? Pshhhh. And cliche. Kahit na di niya sabihin na siya ang "hari", alam mong hari siya dahil sa awra na pumabalibot sa kanya. He's presence screams "I stand higher than you".

Unang pumasok si Stella, sunod si Julia at ako. We sat down on the HUGE couch. Meron din itong minitable sa harapan. I looked around. The Royalties Room is massive! It's almost like a house. May tatlong palapag dito. May tv, refrigerator, bathrooms, dining room, kitchen, and more rooms. Ano ba toh? Bahay nila? The room is adorned with different kinds of dazzling gold furnitures. It is also air conditioned. All I can say is, WOW!

"So what you're gonna be doing for the week is just studying. Students are preparing for the upcoming test on Monday. There's a library on the second floor. Suit yourselves. The only problem is that there's no one to teach you anything. You would have to figure it out on your own. Your smart right? I'll give you pointers that you should study for the test." He then handed out a couple of papers to us. On the second thought, I don't like his tone.

Agad naming itong tinanggap at tiningnan. Jusko po! Ang dami naman nito! It was the topics and lessons of each subject. Dapat namin tong pag-aralan lahat?! Idagdag mo pa na walang magtuturo sa amin! What does he mean by that?

"The total items on the test is 2000. You will have the whole day to fill that out. Normally, you are required to bring your lunches and snacks to class that day because you will be prohibited to leave the class. Unless you have to go to the washroom. But even though you won't take the test with your section, pretty much the same rules applies. You're gonna take the test here and eat here. There's a couple of washrooms you could use here." Phew! Konti na lang at dudugo na ilong ko! This is gonna be a stressful week! Grabe 2000 items?! Good luck utak. Tumango na lang kami. Shock pa sa mga naririnig eh.

"Follow me." MR. ANDERSON said then led us to the second floor. Binuksan niya ang isa sa mga pintuan doon at bumungad sa amin ang matataas na shelves ng libro. This room never fails to amuse me. May iilan ding lamesa at computers doon. And at the very end, merong balcony doon! Jusko! Bat may ganito dito sa school?!

"Feel free to use the books and computers. You can also use the balcony if you prefer working outside. The other ROYALTIES might also join you here in the library. You will be spending the rest of the week here. Here's a key of this room. Just in case you arrive here earlier than us." He then handed me a key na agad kong tinanggap.

"You're free to come and leave the school at any time you want. We won't interfere with what you want but I have a couple of rules you must follow." That seems fair enough. At ano daw? We can leave the school whenever we want? Hihihihi. This so much better than staying with Mr. Morris. Baka pagnag-stay kami sa section niya lagi lang kami ma-guidance.

"Rule #1 Put back all the books on the right places after using them. #2 Turn off the computers when you're not using them. #3 You're allowed to bring foods in here but make sure to keep this place clean. And you're prohibited to go to the third floor. That's all. Any questions?" He looked at us one by one. Umiling na lang kami. Para kaming nawalan ng bibig simula ng makaharap namin siya. At anong meron sa third floor? I'm curious but I don't want to ask.

"No questions. Thank you!" Nakangiting ani ni Julia. Tsk ayan na! Natamaan na. Can't blame her though. He's nice. Even though his voice is as cold as ice. Kinda like Kath.
Tumango siya umalis na. I stared at him as he was leaving the room. Agad akong nag-iwas ng tingin ng magtama ang mga mata namin.

Damn those broad shoulders! Hahaha! I heard the library's door shut closed which means he left.

"Whoooo! Freedom!!!!" Sigaw nong dalawa at tumakbo at nagpaikot-ikot dito. Para silang nakatakas sa zoo.

"Shush! Huwag nga kayong maingay! Baka may makarinig sa inyo." Suway ko sa kanilang dalawa. Mga isip- bata talaga. Magsasalita pa sana si Stella ng bumukas ang pintuan ng library. Agad namang napatigil ang dalawa at napatingin sa pinto.

"Well, well, well. The ugly women."
