Chapter 11- Test

Katherine's pov

A couple of days passed and its now Monday. Its the big day. My friends worked their butts off studying for today's test. But not me.

Maaga pa lang ay nandito na kami sa library ng royalties. The three of them are busy scanning their notes while I'm busy scrolling through social media. Napapa-iling na lang ako sa mga nakikita kong mga balita na kumakalat tungkol sa amin. Kahit saan talaga kami pumunta ay may nakabuntot eh. I hate it. Why can't people give us privacy and leave us alone? Kailan nga ba kami huling nakalabas ng bahay ng walang nakabuntot sa amin?

"Hoy Katherine! Wala ka bang balak tumingin man lang sa notes na ginawa namin? Ni hindi kita nakita humawak ng libro at lapis! Akala ko ba dapat ay pumasa tayo?" Ani ni Stella. Kaharap ko si Stella at katabi naman niya si Julia. Katabi ko naman si Princess.

Sasagot na sana ako ng biglang bumukas ang pintuan. Iniluwa nun ang apat na royalties. Tiningnan ko sila isa isa pero agad din naman nag-iwas ng tingin ng magtama ang mata namin ni Zion.

"Good morning." Bati niya. Bumati din naman kami pabalik. He stood in front of our table and quickly eyed us one by one. The other three was behind him standing proud and tall. He handed out thick piles of papers. I stared at the stack of papers and sighed. This going to be a long day.

"Good luck. We'll stay here and watch over you. Just to make sure. If you need to go the the bathroom, you may do so. We'll inform you when its lunch time. You may start." He said before sitting at the other table just beside us. Tsk! Ano akala niya sa amin magco-copyahan kami? May pa bantay bantay a silang nalalaman!

Well, di naman imposible yun. De jwk.

I glanced at the three and noticed that they were looking at me worriedly. Problema ng mga toh? Tinaasan ko sila ng kilay.

"Hindi kita nakita humawak man lang ng libro. Nag-aral kaba?" Pabulong na tanong ni Julia. Umiling na lang ako. Nakita ko naman ang gulat sa mukha nung dalawa, si Princess wala lang. Di pa sila na sanay.

"Gaga ka! Di ka pwedeng bumagsak uy!" Nanlalaki matang ani ni Stella. Medyo tumaas din yung boses niya, pero di naman gaano kalakas. I just shrugged my shoulders.

"Don't worry about me. Worry about yourselves." I said and wrote my name and the date on the first page. I may sound nonchalant but deep inside, I'm actually kinda nervous. Ang laki din ng tiwala ko sa sarili ko eh noh? Walang study-study.

"Sasapakin ka namin pag bumagsak ka tingnan mo." Narinig ko pang banta ni Stella. I wasn't in the mood to study that's why. Stella and Julia kept scolding me for not studying. But I just told them that I will study when I get home, which never happened. I was too busy doing agent stuffs.

But, I know for sure that I won't fail. I'll make sure of that.

I looked at the first question.

1. What is the source of energy that moves tectonic plates?

a. nuclear fission

b. nuclear fusion

c. radioactive decay

d. solar energy.

I quickly encircled letter c. I continued answering the questions. I flipped page after page. And in no time, I finished. Kumunot naman ang noo ko. I looked at my watch. I finished the Science section in less than 40 mins and there was a total of 500 questions.

The test was divided into 4 section. Science, Math, Language Arts and Social. Each section has a total of 500 questions.

I went back to the first page and made sure I answered all of the questions. I also doubled check my answers. Mas lalong kumunot ang noo ko. Bat parang masyadong madali toh? Di ako nagyayabang ah! Sa tingin ko nga pati grade 7's masasagot toh! Nagkamali kaya sila?
